It is very frustrating, especially since in previous years you've had the red button on fox to choose what court you want to watch

What really irks me is how seven have taken their shameless cross-promotion to revolting levels this year. It's like I know! Let's put Manu in the crowd and make it out as if he just happen to be there watching tennis and our cameras spotted him! Pa-leeease. Just go f yourself ch7, have hated you ever since you completely butchered the 08 Olympics with commercials, replays and slo-mo's and will hate you forevermore.

Rant over.

A decade or so ago, Seven had the best sports coverage in the country, now they're so far last it's embarrassing. F*** knows what happened to cause such a significant decline.

That Manu thing shits me, surely it would alienate more people than it would intrigue, and the commentators talking about shows, it's so unprofessional. Still, as bad as the cross-promotions are, Basil and Rompingwins are hopeless, and the fact they seem to get used for everything makes it even worse.

Seven have been alright this year. they cant cover mutli courts yet; next year they will cover 2. its part of the contract. they should also improve online content, especially videos. Is it that hard for 7 or the AO to have uploaded replays of matches on all courts or live coverage of those courts. they both should address this. If the Hobart International can do it, why cant a bigger tournament.(even if on a paid subscription).

but all games have been live, in every state(right WA viewers???), which is a 500% improvement over previous years. as well as the continued use of 72 as a back up during news. i know its not new but it is still great. But if u consider the pre tournaments coverage and how long the coverage goes, shows great commitment. they put in a lot of hours in tennis.

Several commentators have been poor, but Hewitt and Jim are great on-night sessions. missing the first point has been sloppy but i dont mind the cross promotions. its part of commercial sports broadcasting. and i dont think they been that bad or excessive. they not repetitive at least.

Sick of these guys hitting a yellow thing around interrupting my MKR ads.

Seriously though game is starting to look good just need Jo to stay focused.

This is what they want you to believe, but several times over the past week they have been covering matches as 'live' when, in fact, they are well behind.

i can get over the fact that it is delayed by a point or 2 if that is what you are talking about.

i cant think of another time where they have. they normally say it is not at the beginning of the coverage.

Earlier I turned on 7 to the "Live" Murray match to watch him lose the 3rd set
Flick over to Foxtel and find it was 4-2 in the 4th

Can't remember what specific matches they were, all I can recall is watching on 7 and having the scores open on the app. In some cases they were games behind, not points. And no, they do not tell the viewer this, but TBH I didn't notice if the 'live' watermark was there or not.
