I can't say I've been to the Ritz, whats it like? Been to Revs once or twice and I enjoyed the music but my mates hate that kind of music. Revs seems like the place you can go to at anytime and it will be fairly busy even if its in the middle of the day.

As someone mentioned Ritz is very "Tooraky", having said that I've never had a bad night there always turns into a ripper.

Can really be feast or famine. Saturday, nights before public holidays and some Fridays later most places are packed, yet other nights they are completely dead. For all the talk of Melbourne's thriving nightlife it really only applies a couple of nights a week, where everything is packed you can barely move, other nights there is nothing on. Obviously hard with the majority working Monday-Friday but I wonder if there is a market for something with a mid week niche. (Not for massive benders obviously but just to have a few drinks etc where somewhere isn't totally dead).

It really wasn't, sadly. Maybe I just wasn't into that sort of music (early 2000s 'party' music... god knows how they played 4 full mins of "Numb/Encore"??) but it was definitely better the Friday before. Plus this week was only one level so the vibe was sorta limited.

Wah on a Friday is pretty bland and yeah it was 'Party' night at Wah yesterday should of gone Hidden Forest pretty much the only good Friday night. Was going to go Wah tonight, but people we knew where going Daks so we went from the City to Daks and by the time we got there the people we were meeting were ****ed. So me an a mate just went on the prowl but there was absolutely nothing, could have hooked up with 2 very average looking girls but thought against it. Fairly empty for a Saturday at Daks, got there at 1.30, and we didnt even have to line up to get in.
