I don't know if the Adelaide media (or at least the contingent that are also Crows ambassadors) understand, but their perpetual blowing of sunshine up the pimpled, nappy rashed arses of the crows is part of the problem.
For their entire existence they've had sun shined up their arses when it wasn't deserved, as such, the adulation they get for 'average' means they are perpetually running around with fat heads (both in the office and on the field). Its why they take things for granted (Adelaide Oval off field), and why they have never really turned over the list - after all players like Wright, Jaensch, Petrenko, etc have only ever been average AFL players.

Remember when Blight actually had the guts to make tough calls at West Lakes, and say things that nobody wanted to hear. Lo and behold, look what happened in his first 2 years at the club.

I'm happy for the Crows faithful to think that Walker's return will solve all their problems, while their overall structure remains crap. They can think they're better than they really are: meanwhile Port can get on with the business of winning flags.
