I just realized that cold chisel are more than just bogan rock and I don't need to be ashamed ...

Used to see them quite a bit around town a few years earlier than that and always enjoyed their live shows. Thought they rocked. Never been much of a greenday fan though.

Same, the things we do for chicks

Saw them in 94 or 95, when they supported Green Day

...they were pretty shit, and only went down hill from there

If I was a skater, I'm sure I would have thought they were heaps ace
Saw Green Day on the same tour - Insomniac I think? Back when Green Day songs went no longer than 3 minutes and they finished their set after a bit over an hour

That was it, Featival Hall

Highlight for me, was their cover of Knowledge by Operation Ivy. It was nice to see an imitation punk band pay homage to the real stuff

She is amazing so stop being a faux hard campaigner and listen to it.

+1 for Adele (No Goo)

Dat voice, funny how she sings like an angel but then when she speaks she sounds likes a typical pommy slapper.

I like this song too.

I listened to OP ivy but never really dug it. Every Rancid song I like is Lars singing, something about Tim shits me.

Unfortunately Lars is too busy performing surgeries these days to perform.

When listening to this I replace Ita with Caro,

But then I start dreaming about a threesome with Ita AND Caro.

Star Hotel was classic chisel

with divvy van leading to another classic

Lars first solo album is a belter, the second one is a bit regrettable.

I saw them on the Out Comes the Wolves tour, and got to hang out with them a bit. Very, very genuine human beings who took the time after the show to talk to anyone that stuck around.

Sadly, their new stuff is just plain awful

They can't hold a candle to the greats of the era. Fugazi being the absolute stand out. Punk dates very, very quickly, but Fugazi sounds as good now as it did back then
