I used to enjoy a couple of their tracks but they weren't really much of a band and it all seemed so contrived.

Saw Green Day on the same tour - Insomniac I think? Back when Green Day songs went no longer than 3 minutes and they finished their set after a bit over an hour
That was it, Featival Hall
Highlight for me, was their cover of Knowledge by Operation Ivy. It was nice to see an imitation punk band pay homage to the real stuff

Lars first solo album is a belter, the second one is a bit regrettable.
I saw them on the Out Comes the Wolves tour, and got to hang out with them a bit. Very, very genuine human beings who took the time after the show to talk to anyone that stuck around.
Sadly, their new stuff is just plain awful
They can't hold a candle to the greats of the era. Fugazi being the absolute stand out. Punk dates very, very quickly, but Fugazi sounds as good now as it did back then
