I'm glad they the bombers decided they needed to show their love for the great team that is the Fremantle Dockers.

Seriously though, why would they choose a colour which is instantly identifiable as belonging to a rival team? And why do we need a gay pride round? Is it recognise the multitude of GLBT players that have played the game over the years???

I take it that James Hird doesn't like rainbows or the colour pink.

As for cheersquads have a code of conduct, most have for some time now. I got booted from the Fitzroy one when Quit took over as major sponsor and I lit up one day.

Melbourne Storm does not rival Essendon :D

This is cool. Well done, Essendon. Removing you from the list of clubs I hate now.

LGBTI... where's the Q?
(Q is for self-identified "Queers" and also for "Questioning" people).

If you're going to get on a bandwagon... get on the right name.

They need this as I remember the losers Booing off a stretchered Umpire. They also need a drug code.
Even as an Essendon supporter I can admit that game earlier in season when the umpire was booed as he was carted off was unsavoury

It's shit bait, so if you bite you deserve it.

What I don't understand is why clubs need LGBT supporter groups?

Exactly. Why not have a brown-haired supporters group, or a Ford driving supporters group? It does no harm and I'm not against it, but I can't see the point.

Exactly, if there was racism or homophobia in any club sponsored supporters group it would be stamped out.
