If the AFL risks handing out too light a penalty, it will leave ASADA no choice but to take it further. After 20 months of compiling "12,000 pages of evidence, which the ASADA Chief says is comprehensive and compelling" its hard to see ASADA accepting a lenient AFL tribunal penalty without a fight.

I fear it will not be the afl dishing out the lenient penalties but Asada itself.

omg this SAGA has been a drainer not just for Bombers players, coaches and officials but all AFL fans, going into its 3rd season and still no closure. Should of listened to Michael Voss and accepted 6month ban last year and be done with it now going to Federal Court when that fails, High Court, show clause notices omg ENOUGH!

Players should all just walk out, negotiate own deals with ASADA, do 3 months or whatever and finish up with it
