There can only be 2 explanations.
1. They're in the final and think what the hell, may as well play him.
2. He's actually in their best XI

If it's 1, then they're wasting a selection and should be playing so done who's actually capable of representing Aust
If it's 2, they've got absolutely no ****ing idea and Maxwell has photos of Rod Marsh in a Bombers2003 compromising position.

Ideally Adelaide should have got one of Aus day or a Wc match featuring Australia.

Given that Aus play group stage matches at MCG and SCG (CA would not have allowed Aus to not play at the two most prominent Aus venues).

Also play an away game in Auckland as well as Hobart, Perth and The GABBA. Given Perth and Hobart didn't get a test match I think they should get an Aus WC match. So your only real game to argue against imo is the game vs Bangladesh at the GABBA.

The Gabba has shocking attendances also.

Hobart and Perth have been royally screwed over this summer.

Just looking at it a bit more. Aus are in group A and the 3rd QF is at the AO. So if Aus finish 2nd in Group A. The QF will be at the AO.

Finishing 2nd is quite a possibility but wouldn't expect us to finish any lower than that.
