I have a theory. I just left at half time mostly because my toddler was over it but. When a defence has 3 talls against us we play thus stupid chip kick game as i believe Hardwick and the players don't have the faith in a secondary or third string talls. When jack gets monstered we have nothing. Griff is a work in progress. Vickery is useless so a trade there would be a start.
I agree we need another mid like a shiel but i also believe we need another quality tall or a swing man.. im thinking someone along the lines of a Sam Ried or even Henderson. Just my theory and im not saying its right or i know whos available.

the more i think of it, the more i think we havent seen an inkling of Vicks best. If he can play as a ruckman/fwd, as opposed to a key forward that can ruck, we will see the best of him.

My ins would be, in order of preference (and in saying that, we need to have a fair f*n crack at these guys and hope 1-2 of them come)

If we get 1 of them, we'll finish top 6 next year; get 2 and we will finish top 3. They are that good. all three and i will cr3am myself as we win the flag.

But we must, must, get at least 1 of these players or we will fall even further down next year.

the only outs i can see happening this early in the season is Newman, and prob most of the rookies. really anyone from Dea to McBean to Elton to Foley could be gonski this year.
But i think we will see the necessary 3, max 4 be gone this year.
