I feel really bad tho for those people. I had a bout of gastro for 10 days (included a trip to hospital for a day, and a few trips to the doctors)- the chemist was telling me how she got salmonella poisoning and it took her something like 3 months+ to fully recover.

Yeah, you can lose a fair amount if weight that way and you really get knocked around a fair bit. My daughter's friend got salmonella when she was in primary school- same story- a recovery period that measured months.

If this was the USA the Langham would have their asses in court by now!

At the very least refund + hospital bills should be covered. Loss of income/suffering, that's another matter.
