yes, or Rockingham! :D
Ain't that so, Kram81, UFO Tatsu?
Ole Rockingham.. used to always make sure the ute was locked up extra well down there doing jobs.

The shittier parts of Mandurah are pretty bad for teenage mothers as well, just go for a walk through the forum on any weekday and they are everywhere.

As much as I hate Hawthorn I hope they smash the Eagles tomorrow, or failing that a draw would be really funny. Oh and Mitchell to get knocked out cold within the first minute.

I honestly cgaf about the result. If Hawks win 3 in a row, that will take nothing away from Geelong's success- am not intimidated by them or their achievements in the slightest.

Just want a good close game. Hey a draw would be great, we'll do it all again next week. ;)

The replay for a draw is absolutely ridiculous really, imagine spending 5k+ on going over there from WA and you don't even get to see a result on the day.

Although it would be amusing to see it happen to Eagles' supporters it's just a shameless $$$ grab from the AFL in the rare event it happens, there's absolutely no other explanation for having it.

Haha yeah forgot all the costs involved in traveling over here and the inflated airfares. And we complain having to buy inflated GF tickets (I paid $350 for a $160 ticket in 07). Does put it in perspective.

You think if another draw happened so close to 2012, the AFL would change that rule of a replay?

I don't want a child purely due to childbirth and pregnancy. Yet I love kids.
Had this discussion with a person today funnily enough.

Am scared of the whole thing, from start to finish.
I've always thought the start bit was Ok, just the next stuff gets a bit tricky.

Why did you have such a dangerous weapon as a screwdriver in your pocket at a school dance... You might've accidentally stabbed someone!
Once took a screw driver, pliers, a circuit board and some wire in my backpack through airport security once.

You didn't answer my question, Bots.

I used to take my pocket knife to Uni in my rucksack every day- in case I needed it for prac. Probably would've got away with it on the plane in those days, as well, I'm pretty sure.

 What for??? :D
Well I had completely forgotten to take my TAFE work out of my backpack. I was quite shocked and embarrassed when they pulled them out and asked me why I had them in my backpack . They asked me what the circuit board was and I told them it was an unfinished temperature sensor.

Thankfully they let me keep all my items but they had to be stored with my other bag in the cargo part of the plane. You can judge for yourself if this looks like a bomb or not:

1. Coloured Wires- check (gotta have different colours- it adds to the buildup of tension when the bomb squad have to do "eenie-meenie-minie-mo" to decide which colour wire to cut)

2. Digital Display -check (extra points if red)

3. An IC- check

4. Other unidentifiable bits and pieces that I don't know anything about - check.

Yep- out to the back room for a thorough cavity search, Bots. You've been busted!!

:D

Someone was asking in another thread a short while ago.

There's actually a really good movie on 9 about to start soon (well not for you)- J. Edgar. But the finish time is 2am, so I doubt I'll last. Prob go to sleep arounf 12.30/1.

Tip: the voltage wires are not the correct colour ;):p

I guess when you look at the rest it does kind of add up :p.

But then again a handmade clock looks like a bomb as well

89 Grand Final is on 7 now if anyone cares..

No one?

Nup.

Fair enough...
Greatest GF I've watched. 90 more seconds and we'd have won.

I went to uni in Canberra and would fly home for the break during first semester, and then the mid-year semester break, and I can't remember if it was the first or second trip home but there was a few of us from the same college who would catch the same fight to Melbourne and one of them then flew onto Adelaide (this is 2002, the good old days when there was no direct flights between Canberra and basically anywhere other than Melb, Syd or Brisbane).

We all checked in our baggage and then went through security, and as we went through the guys stopped the bag of one of the other girls as they found a pocket/utility knife down the bottom. This is less than a year after Sept 11, so high security alert, and the question he asks her is "Are you flying or just seeing the others off? Because if you are just seeing them off you can keep it". She was lucky enough to be able to have it added to her checked baggage - but I have never forgotten that security guy and all 3 of us where rather shocked by him almost just waving things away.
