Sitting in Virgin Lounge Melbourne for 9am flight to Perth. Weagles team here and are VERY quiet. God only knows what would have happened if they'd won. Later flight I guess.

Fair to say the general feeling was bemusement. We were discussing the issue I saw on the non Geelong game thread this morning about how the Hawks intimidate so much mentally that other teams just do not turn up, and end up getting blown away. Can't remember who posted that but very true.

I just hope TF we don't get a threepeat repeat next year.

I agree. Jason Gillespie's old man who I knew reasonably well before he died told me a few home truths about Oz cricket over countless wines one night, and he was not a big wrap for Punter. Then again Jason did make 201 not out as a bowler under Ponting, then never played another test.

Excellent! I'm terrific with a 12 gauge double barrel shot gun, like a nice .45 with a big bang + now I've moved to the country, we have a gun shop in town I'll stock up the armoury - anything I can get you while I'm there?
