Would resigning them put us over 100% ? If it did then with the delistings and retirements we have nearly 20% do the math, everyone agrees that our stars are getting unders , so even at 15 % left that's 1.5 million per year, the operative word here is per year, if we had signe say treloar at 750 for 5 years we only count 750 PER year not 3.75 million, some people here, think this way

We have over 20% cap space do the math remember once a player retires or is delisted we no longer pay them unless your name is nick daffy

Does that mean th club know who is "retiring" each year before th season begins?
Don't want to make a big deal of these points but a lot of posters think it's easy to just throw money at opposition players to get em. Very complex issues in running a footy department, I just think people are unaware of th actual cost to th list of adding a big money player.. Just my opinion of cousre

If any of use really think we arnt trying to get a deal done and bring in a quality player this trade period use are delusional, do you think dimma is wanting to bring in fringe players or kids through the draft, no way his time is now and if he doesn't perform next year and doesn't get us deep into the finals he is pretty much gone so he'd be telling dan and Blair to find him ready to go talent not youth, just imagine being dimma, he needs to make shit happen next year or his gone. Dan and Blair also know that they havnt pulled off a major signing in a while so the pressure is on them all, I gaurentee you that they will be working there asses off now to bring a quality player to the club and are not leaking it to the media. You watch a superstar come to Richmond this trade period, we are cashed up and on the up, believe tigers, stop melting and just be patient.

Were not as we know were trying ffs we've been linked with just about anyone apart the reall ones we should be chasing. Question is why don't they want to come to this mighty club run by professionals?

Do a rough estimAte based on close to the max cap space
The figures I quoted were pretty close estimates
If you're suggesting I'm over quoting then it reinforces my argument further that we have even greater than !1.5 mil to spend. So which way do you want to go? We are paying overs for spuds? Or we have a massive wArchest and are skimping at Petes fish n chips ?

How is it spot on??? Do you have a copy of club contracts in front of you?? What have I made up? My estimates are just like his. Estimates. Neither of us has proven fact.

I'm just saying if you guess salaries of that many players you're bound to be off by a fair margin. Me and him included.
