So what constitutes a good deal for Menzel?
  1. Pick 28 + Kerridge for Menzel + 20 / 21
  2. Pick 28 + Kerridge for Menzel + 2016 Pick
  3. Pick 28 + Kerridge for Menzel
  4. Pick 13 + Kerridge for Menzel + 20 / 21
  5. Pick 13 + Kerridge for Menzel + 2016 Pick
I'd take anything but Option 5, because the proviso for using pick 13 is surely that we bundle picks to get back into the first round with our second pick?

I think Option 3 as it stands leans towards us a little, so 1 and 2 IMO are unfair on Carlton.

I also think Options 4 and 5 are unfair to the Crows.

Carlton probably would like an early 20s rather than a late 20s pick, but we don't have one and probably can't get one.

So for once the trade goes in our advantage, in my opinion. Feels good man.

I agree, we're giving away a guaranteed 4 points against North for a young small forward with baggage.

Poor form Noble

(I'm so ******* excited to get Menzel)
That is true. But at the crows he's pushed out of the team...he plays every week at Carlton

A small forward brigade of Betts, Cameron, and Menzel...nup, get ****ed!

WTF are those idiots at Carlton thinking. Boggles the mind.

While I'm here. Could we facilitate a trade for Laird? Kid can play!

Mate, people (specifically redhorse ) have been saying 'Menzel will be a crow' since August 30. It was floated as a possibility in the newspaper on Sep 3.

Fact is, you said Mackay would be part of the deal and nobody else did. That's your only real point of difference. Doesn't seem to me like this 'Melbourne club' is Carlton. That's unfortunate.
I'm on the crow1980 bandwagon :)

Put it this way: There's a lot of smoke.. A LOT..

Especially at the feet of Tex and Jenkins, with Lynch as a third tall. Should end up being one of the scariest forward lines in the league (With West Coast and Hawthorn), and that's before you factor in the amount of improvement left in Cameron and Menzel.

As the team that repeatedly benefits from Carltons line of thinking... i'm happy for them to keep it up ;)

Only if you give up Swallow and you're 1st. Laird is an absolute gun. Alternatively, if you take him in a package deal with Van Berlo, Wright and Mackay...

tomlinson is a gun, could play key back and forward but you need him forward

if you get weitering and plowman and tomlinson your KP looks much improved

if you don't want tomlinson, we'll take him, he could play KPD for us

But we can get Kerridge for free in the PSD or we can give you a 2nd round or 3rd round for him why do we need to trade Menzel as well? We are a joke.
