He has to be dead, you simply can't survive that. Even if the other guys body was across him the walkers would be into Glenn's legs, arms and even head, he is a live meal just lying there FFS!

Plus, even if for some reason they ate the other guy and thought "hmm, that was enough, I'll meander away now" then I'm pretty sure Rick constantly yapping into the walkie talkie would have brought them back.

There was also a fire escape they could have gone up. Couldnt have been worse than trapping yourself like they did.

Yeah I noticed that straight away when they ran up the alley was thinking ugh there is stairs right there guys, use them maybe.

Funny thing being I think they interviewed the actor who played Nicholas as he sat on those stairs on talking dead

It really annoys me that they had to inform people that something shocking was going to happen and request people to film reactions just for them to not end up killing him and going to come up with a stupid way for him to actually survive.

It's pathetic by AMC.

Well now that he has apparently survived it, I'm interested to see what they do and how that plays out. If the next time we see Glenn he is covered in blood and walking off or something I'll be pretty pissed.

For all the talk of call backs and the like, I reckon the most important line was Michonne's speech about not knowing whether the blood on you is yours or your friends, as far as Glenn goes.

No chance Glenn is dead (unfortunately). Pretty sure those guts were Nicholas' who was laying on top of him. I'm guessing the scent of the guts and blood might have provided some protection for Glenn, like how he and Rick covered themselves in shit in season 1. He'll be back

I've recently started watching Z Nation on the US Netflix and currently alternating between that and TWD. Z Nation is such a dumb fun show and is a nice break from all the doom and gloom of TWD, especially when we get those episodes where nothing really happens. I'm still in season 5

There is no way he could survive. Body on him, blood on him, zombies getting full, he's dead in that situation. The zombies were swarming over them both, the ones next to his head arent going to reach over his screaming face to get to the other guy. Theyre going to eat his brain.

Having said that, consistency does not play a major part in this show so i expect he will survive. Most likely an unimportant character will say something about finally wanting to live again, and that swarm will teleport into a tree behind him, leaving glenn to walk away scratch free.

BTW, Glenn was dead as soon as he called Rick "dumbass". Could there be anything more foreshadowing? Maybe they could have added a bunch of flashbacks to happier times in Glenn's life just to make it absolutely clear.

It was a reference to the first episode in the series, in which Glenn called Rick a dumbass when Rick got in the tank. It seemed like a portent.
