Still have a delightful memory of seeing more of Bjork than expected while standing in the front row of The Sugarcubes gig at the Metro, back in the day ('88/'89??). I'm sure she can afford knickers these days.

The other show I liked was Iron Chef- they came on consecutively

There's something enthralling about Iron Chef. I'm a vegetarian, so a lot of their ingredients make me all queasy, but I can't turn it off.

I also like some of SBS's "movie mayhem" movies, and their music documentaries are pretty good too.

If I think of Bjork, 'that dress' from the Academy Awards is what 1st comes to mind. Was a strange choice-

I love that dress! My girlfriend wore something similar to a music themed dress up party once, she looked smashing.

Puff Johnson from the 90's. I've always loved this one, and unfortunately she died a couple of years ago at 40 from cervical cancer. Great voice, with great phrasing.

To answer your questions, I've never been to watch a tribute band, and at the moment I'm listening to something new-ish and local, a band called Howl At The Moon. Here's a couple of snippets of their stuff.....

I find this song so Australian... the accent and the linking of words.
