Our winning streak has been broken. Always going to happen eventually.

Umpires didn't help, but more importantly our older guys really let us down tonight.

It's just one game (Swans beaten by Tigers and nearly the Lions....AFL "form" is flukey this time of year), we played very poorly, so we take the lesson and focus on beating the Tigers next week.......

......which i'm confident we will :thumbsu:

From a broad point of view:

Midfield smashed.
Defence outclassed.
Forward line non-existent.

Drilling down:

- Can't remember a worse game from a NMFC player than what Drew produced tonight. Did not compete in the air, did not compete on the ground.
- Harvey very, very bad
- Dumont not up to it in the role he was played tonight
- Waite has been quiet for a few weeks
- Tarrant soundly beaten, despite Franklin not kicking a bag (he could have)
- Our smaller defenders were taught a lesson as soon as the ball hit the ground
- Dal Santo poor

Other points:

- Goldstein looking very, very injured. Probably the biggest negative to come out of the game.
- JZ fought hard all night
- Cunnington needs a kick up the arse. Can't start games like he did tonight, needs more urgency
- Scotty Thompson is playing good football
-Umpiring very inconsistent and poor (not the reason we lost, but needs to be noted)

On merit and effort Dal, Boomer and Drew should all be playing for Werribee next week.

The myth that is the meat grinder. JZ is not A grade and never will be. Swallow tries his guts out and guys with more talent should take a look. Cunners is the best but still goes missing. We need more class in the middle and need it quick because we'll never match it with the best.

Where do we start.

Sooooo many passengers. Drew, Dal, Boomer, Wright, Atley, Gibson etc. absolute liabilities tonight.

In hindsight would have had Wood in over anyone of Petrie, Waite and Brown.

Nahas, he is handy filling in but isnt good enough.

Taz done his job again, midfield let him and the defenders down.

Missed Jacobs, we were totally outclassed in the contest.

We will keep with the same soldiers for most of the year but the signs have been there all year from Dal, Gibbo, Ats and recently Drewie.

Reset and go again, not all doom and gloom. But no harm in changing it up a bit either. Maj, Clarke, Wags and co. should all come into consideration next week.

Disagree whole heartedly. Franklin had 3 shots at goal from handball receives when he ran behind a guy taking a shot. You take that away and he had 4 shots at goal for the night. Especially when the ball was coming down that much, Tarrant did a tremendous job.

If i hear or read one more thing about our old blokes I will *******

Its a collective effort of under pressure poor disposal and turn overs.

The wins...or the wall paper...has covered up the cracks...or the rubbish disposals. ..all year.

And when the pressure ramped up to top 4 level like tonight we were split down the middle.

So its not individual old or young players. ..just a dreadful inability to hit targets by hand or by foot every single time.

Jz not an A grader? Surely trolling
