GWS are the threats. They could fill two teams with their list. They also have the easiest run in whereas we have a few tricky ones and who knows what we will serve up.

I have been pretty positive this year, UNTIL we get labelled as flag favourites 1/3 of the way in and lose consec games against strugglers.
I am positive and happy when we are on a mission hunting teams, beating them.
I am negative when we are on top ready to be shot down, specially when there is a 3peat team just going through the motions as it were.
I'm praying it's a Geelong v Hawks GF.

Would be ecstatic if that's how it finished, but if North win six of the remaining seven games and Hawthorn lose six of theirs I'll do a streak on Grand Final day, as Vdubs said, a bit fanciful, and that's putting it mildly.
You mush have been the most negative person in Australia during 07/08 then dubs.
Anyway, to answer the OP I think Hawks should be favourites, won the last three, and despite predictions of their imminent demise they're still sitting a game clear on top of the ladder, so still the team to beat IMO.

Spot on. It's definitely the most open that it's been for a very long time. Every time you think that a team is "the one" - and I thought that Sydney was - they slip.
As always the teams that finish in the top 4 and win the first final are in the box seat, but this could be a year where someone out of the top 4 wins the flag.
We are definitely still up there, but I expect a rocky road to the finals for all teams.
