Everyone who had the Season package [Preseason till Week 17] lastyear got the Season+ [Aug 1-July31] this year for the price of the Season subscription. since they now offer only one subscription. And if you opted out of Auto renew you cant opt back in. so some accidentally opted out and miss on the savings.

Still love that those that already had Season+ didn't get the same discount though

I never sit down and watch it, but have ESPN on heaps and catch baseball a lot. most of the time more like background noise when doing something else.

I like playing MLB the show, but wouldnt pay for MLBtv or whatever the live stream thing is called, i do about the same with NBA. but get more pissed at MLB when ESPN show it over College Football.

I never thought there was any real need for Season+. ESPN and 7 had all the playoff games. but the Season+ sub still exists. you might save like $5 on the Auto renew.

Just be glad they dont try and charge for Pre-season and have subs start in September.

There is too much of it and you do need to pick your games. Playoffs are a must and if anyone interested play management sim game called Out of The Park (OOTP) baseball. More strategy based management sim but great way to pick up the nuances of the game. Good fun as well.

Kind of beside the actual point.

But anyway it was at a time when i was moving and wasnt sure I would have Foxtel and my faith in FTA coverage was low to say the least.

I have just bought NBN through Optus, 50mb/s unlimited for $120 per month, plus and extra $15 per month for their sports package which includes ESPN. So between ESPN and 7mate iv got the NFL covered, plus all EPL games through Optus tv.

if you are a casual fan sure, if you follow a team then Gamepass is a must.

ESPN shows late games and redzone for the early games which is pretty good. Of course 7 has early games...i think.

Agreed. Even with redzone and ESPN youl still miss a fair few of the 16 regular season games your team plays.

I am. But I'm also in contact with digital support to get them to put it through. They've been very responsive, replying to me twice just yesterday.

I'm hoping that the Bronco's being the reigning champ's they'll get more tv coverage through 7Mate & ESPN. That and the reduced coverage of the 49's due to Jarrod Haynes experiment ending and them being shit it might all work out!
