I actually think the Blues will win today .
Wouldn't shock a lot of Melbourne supporters, but Melbourne's form since the bye has been pretty good aside from a loss to the Saints and a very average win against GCS. Carlton on the other hand haven't looked good at all. We should have this by at least 4 goals.

Blues will be spanked. Melbourne have something to play for. We should rename Mediocrity to Carlton.

If we want to play finals this year we need to be aggressive at the contest from the opening bounce. If we can do that, maintain our structures as a finals side should against a lower ranked opponent then we win by enough to close the 2.8% down.

That said we're not a finals quality side yet (albeit we're in much better form than north) so I fear we'll see the Melbourne of old and we'll loose by 18 points.

Hopefully it's a good game .

Problem today was always going to be our inability to kill a marking contest with Hogan/Watts in it. Either they mark or their crumbers will have a good chance. That's goal number 1.

Gibbs was in a rich vein of form when we won our games early in the season...started well today.

Dees will send Vince to tightly tag him at some stage if this keeps up.

Melbourne making us look good.
Defensively Carlton set up well. As good if not better than most teams.

Scoring is the problem. And yeah, Melbourne's lack of pressure is fixing that problem. :)

Melbourne gonna Melbourne.
