It's got to the point where I'm completely over the constant degrading of a player who, without a background in the game, has pushed himself and bettered himself to become one of the leading forwards in the game. 62 goals, 5th in the competition, more than Jeremy Cameron, Jack Reiwoldt ,Tom Hawkins and Tex, and we have these ignorant, pea-hearted, deadbeats that have no right to call themselves supporters, that think it's funny to belittle him. And 14th in the B&F. Goals are great, but it is important to consider how those goals are created, which I think the club has done when giving a player who kicked 62 goals a position of 14th.

He finished 10th after CC at 9th and before Laird at 11th.
Also if he was not rated then why renew his contract, they did, so you have to say they rate him rather highly.
And one thing I have noticed in all my years watching and Playing Football, is the team that kicks the most Goals win the game. Jenkins kicks Goals
When you get a tall KPF who backs up in the ruck that has kicked more than 40 goals a year for last 3 years you keep them.
More so when you realise they are only our 3rd maybe 4th key Forward.
Also because you like numbers. This is a guy who has improve on his 2015 stats in 2016 - tackle count by 20+% his Goal Kicking By 20+% his Marks by 10% his Hit Out by 40%, Contested Possessions by 30%, He has improved in all most every stat on 2015 results which were a slight improvement on 2014. Followed by a jump over 2013 stats.
JJ has improved his game every year and is still learning.

FFS - Have a look at the last few years Pick 13 has netted gun players.

Losing Bryce means they get salary cap relief to keep their elite young talent and get a 10+ year player too. Gibbs will play NO part of any Blues flag.

He has got imo at most 4 years left in him.

Was he alone against Sydney, no.
He our 3 best Forward, Who backs up the ruck. He a Tall 200cm who is kicking goals, Teams have to pay slight overs for those players as they are hard to find. Remember he is a Tall Forward who can Ruck not the other way around.
He not playing bad football in fact he had his best year yet some still look for the negative,
