Assange might personally know of all of Wikileaks' sources. I'd imagine he'd be pretty wary of outside actors trying to pass disinformation through Wikileaks to discredit it, so he'd need to vet its contributors.

Having said that, anything is possible in the end. Truthfully Assange can only state that the Russians weren't involved to the best of his own knowledge, unless he himself was the hacker.

i just cannot understand the logic of the left, on one hand they berate Trump for his 'hatred' of women and on the other hand will bend over backwards for muslims who of course just 'love' womens rights. I mean what is the greater threat and how do you justify the logic?

Do you honestly believe that our friends on the right are anti-Muslim merely due to Islamic attitudes towards women? Or is it just possible that the left are simply reacting against what they perceive as blatant racism? Furthermore, do you think it is possible to defend a group in general without defending every single specific aspect of that group?

I know what i heard, but cant remember which interview (cnbc?).They assume a sanders staffer did what was morally required in the circumstances. Hillary cheated her way to the democratic nomination. Hence why a big deal was made about Russians, cover up infighting and corruption.
