I somehow ended up behind the paywall and they also had an appendix to download about Stephen Armstrong (Confidential Attachment A). The "full" report doesn't appear to have these appendices so does anyone have the other ones? Please?

Evidently involved in a car crash in 2007 and believed may have lied about who was driving .

The Herald Sun seems a very shabby newspaper . .....wont be subscibing

I just read the whole report and the Attachment A. There really isn't anything new in it. The mention of three players in Spain (in whatever year it was) being on something is new and I can't work out who the player still on the list was. But there is nothing that we didn't already know. Some players doing drugs. Some players behaving like idiots with nothing to do with drugs and a failure by the club to take adequate action to nip it all in the bud. But one of the key things in the report is it highlights on several occasions that this was no different to any other AFL club's approach at the time to bad behaviour (although it highlights the behaviour at West Coast in those years was the worst).

As for KB, he is an idiot. He has no understanding of the difference between recreational and performance enhancing drugs or the applicable policies at the time and if the AFL were to take his advice, they would need to do an audit of every flag to determine if any player had taken recreational drugs during the relevant club's flag year. Seriously, the guy is a fool and every time he opens his mouth it is to embarrass himself further with how out of touch he is.

Must be immediately sacked as midfield coach, name removed from honour board and banned for life by the AFL imo.

Yeah when they listed the indiscretions i laughed when they mentioned Lynch and Cox swearing after the GF and then the mention of Waters eating a goldfish.
To be honest, the thing I found most reprehensible in the whole report, was Waters eating a live goldfish...

All this being rehashed at the start of the AFL season is just aimed at all the snowflakes out there that get in-sensed at the drop of a hat.

Cousins, Wirra, Braun, Jones are the ones who fit the 98 - 07 timeline. Cousins we know so scrap him.

Yeah thanks, got that one though, I was wondering if there were Attachments B, C, D etc and if anyone has them, or if it's just A, Armstrong's drive with Scott Thompson.

I wish the club would grow some balls about how they tackle this though. The problem is the fool that let this get out of hand when it should've been ground out of the club is still in charge so its very hard for us to distance ourselves from that period.

Makes us look like a bunch of weak d**** corporate numpties. Screw your strong P&L, Balance Sheet, supporter base, community programs and onfield success. Get a bit of 10 year old scandal into ya! Oh look, Eagles administration, impotent as always. It's our kryptonite and will continue to be so until Nisbett is no longer at the club.

Tinfoil hat on. Makes me wonder whether there is some sort of powerplay at work here to oust Nisbett from his throne. Who has he pissed off? What has he not agreed to? Whose line is he not towing? He really is the only existing senior management link to that era. All this shit is nothing new, but geez we get held over a barrel often enough with this issue still to make the board wonder whether it might just be easier to let him go. That way they can PR the shit out of this by legitimately distancing themselves from the 'previous administration', which they just can't do at the moment.

I hope Simmo and the boys dismiss any questions on this with the contempt it deserves.

As much as I hate West Coast, this rehashing of something that happened over 10 years ago is getting boring. The fact that it's being brought up again in the week of the AFL season opening is just desperation from the Vic media because they have nothing else to talk about.

And to KB saying the 2006 premiership should be removed is a joke. They were recreational drugs, not performance enhancing, so if anything, it makes that premiership win even more unbelievable.
I'm f****** glad we asked you!

Does that mean Collingwood's 1990 flag when Darren Milane got drunk is now tainted and in question?

- not meaning to be crass with DM but this crap from that bald headed prick Bartlet is a crock of shite

Name me a team where player in the off season are not up to mischief!
