Mind you I was watching a crappy stream & haven't seen a replay.

Just on the Varcoe snipe as you put it, when I played the game you had to have 360 awareness.
If I got hit off the ball without being aware of my situation, I always took that as my fault.

Jones the only player that hasn't tonned up so far. Wasn't watching the game closely tonight but he seemed to do alright, especially in the first half - not sure why he scored so poorly?

Re Jones' hit on Cloke - he didn't make any high contact did he? Thought he should be fine from what I saw.

After watching the Varcoe hit again hes probably lucky to only get 1 week, had eyes only for the man not the ball. Go to the 1 minute mark of the top video. Cloke also got up and kicked the ball and in a post match interview said the hit was all good and part of the game. Jones has nothing to worry about.

So did ya hear that Dustin Martin will be awarded mid/fwd status following his recent foray into the fwd line?
Yes, also turns out that Dan Hannebery will be awarded mid/peaheart status which entitles us to play him both in the mids and in the cantplayplayforpeanuts line which will really help owners with flexibility in their squads.
Also, Champion Data have confirmed that players with a hyphenated name like Hoskin-Elliott will now be given an extension to their selection enabling non-owners to claim them under the didn'tpickthem-buthadtheminpreseason rule.
