It is. He is not going to lose that instinctive stuff. His going into the midfield is also one of the things allowing Robbie to play forward more.

I keep thinking why not have both up forward, but last year that would have required something extra out of Hartlett that he evidently wasn't prepared to give. This year it would require about another year of experience into SPP. We might see it next year ;)
 
Good to see Aidyn Johnson kick a couple of goals and get a few touches. Hope he tears it up for you guys, just not against us next time.

Good win. But still too few players doing too much. Young, Johnson, Amon to name a few.

Harsh on Johnson being first game. But just pointing out this game

Think everyone did enough, I definitely wouldn't be isolating Johnson who I thought did lots of great stuff.

Ryder the biggest disappointment for me. Not enough dominance in the ruck given the weak opposition and nothing around the ground or up forward, which has been a worrying trend this season.
