We were destined to beat Essendon on that day even if cyclone Debbie or a heatwave hit Melbourne.
Did anyone just watch Joe Daniher being interviewed after the match sitting next to whoosha he must have set the all time record for um and ahh's he had fifty in the 2 minutes I watched it got so blatant my daughter said "he says um a lot hey dad". But he did play very well today would love him at umm ahhh carlton.

So far, I haven't seen any team that has me thinking they are the ones to beat this season. Whilst there are three teams undefeated, the Tigers don't grab me and I haven't had a good look at the Cats & Crows, the Giants aren't playing their killer style yet too.

He is a bit contrary like that. It's kinda how things work around here.
Eddie should be sacking himself. He was the one who thought it was a good idea to remove their premiership coach & replace him with a novice. It fascinates me that no-one among the Collingwood faithful has really made any noise about a decision which could only have been made on the basis of fanboy idolisation rather than the best interests of the football club.
Grass is always greener. They were scared shitless that their hero would go to another club. Eddie had a cunning plan to have both.......

Yep, would have made much more sense to send him somewhere else for a season or two so he could get exposure to how other clubs operated.
He could then return as a new direction when the premiership coach retired.
