Well done Hamilton, well done Vettel. Huge well done to Force India and what a showing from Wehrlein...

Ocon is really impressing me this year. Werlein must be wondering where he's gone wrong.

And RBR....... wow.

The best F1 driver named Esteban. Ocon > Gutierrez >>>>> Tuero.

Red Bull is slow but then with some context - Ricciardo was the only driver not lapped by a Merc or Ferrari. A distant third but he still finished well ahead of the Force Indias. At the moment it's a four tier sport - Merc/Ferrari, RBR, the midfielders, and Sauber/McLaren.

Not from what I could tell.

Either way it's a slam dunk penalty - you're either on the right side of the bollard or you're not. So ptrg's bias is even more amusing, clutching at straws.

What the hell are you talking about? You even said yourself, if you go over the speed bump, you must go around he bollard.
Are you saying Lewis didn't hit the speed bump?? If so, he must have teleported.

He didn't hit the speed bump. Leaving the track at T1 does not necessarily push you onto the bumps.

That video shows absolutely nothing, cuts to a different angle just as he approaches it (and looks to at least clip it with his bac left in that next angle).

Have a look at the layout of turn 1- there no way for a F1 car to avoid the outer most speed bump and remain completely off track.

If you looked closely at the video, you can make out the speed bumps on the outside of T1 which Hamilton clearly avoids (because, you know, his car doesn't go up and down over it).

The bumps are well into turn, not immediately at the apex.

If you have a video or screenshots to prove your case, I'd welcome it.

Argentinian? :drunk:

Let's just say I don't have a single drop of English blood in me.

I'm more pro-ADR than anything and I loved it when Hamilton's car blew up in Malaysia last year to hand ADR the win. But I react to the constant anti-Lewis circlejerk by certain posters on this board. If his name was Ayrton or Seb or Jenson those same posters would love his desire to win and constant complaints on the radio.

He's done nothing wrong as an F1 driver, either on or off the track, but because the BBC likes to fellate him they feel the need to be arsewipes about it. That is a lot more annoying than anything Crofty says during the coverage.
