Harris Andrews vs Jacob Weitering vs Jake Lever

I couldn't find a poll with Harris Andrews involved with these two other young gun KPD's and I think he is currently on par with them (maybe even slightly ahead in some eyes?).

So assuming you would want the best young KPD for your club, which one would you pick?

Harris Andrews - 20 years old, 202cm and 100kg

Jacob Weitering - 19 years old, 195cm and 96kg

Jake Lever - 21 years old, 195cm and 93kg


IMO Andrews is the clone of Dustin Fletcher in terms of his ability to just about always get his fist in the way of the ball and the KPF who is attempting to mark it.

Looking at all the stats, I'd be happy to argue Andrews has them both covered at this point (as a KPD).

Would be a tie between Andrews and Lever as i think Weitering has dropped off as Marchbank is there number 1 defender, we have been linked with Lever and he would be a good addition for us but i'd take Harris Andrews out of the 3.

Not sure but I do know that Harris is a gun in the making and at 20 is already an excellent KPD. Taken at pick 60?

Harris Andrews for me. 200+ cm, nightmare matchup for opposition forwards. Has all the tools to become the best/one of the best key defenders in the league.

Hard to compare Lever and Andrews who are probably the two best - Andrews is a #1 defender who shuts down opposition forwards. Lever is a #2 or #3 whose job is to rebound and intercept, like Marchbank who would be a more suitable comparison.

I think Weitering will be a forward from here so I wouldn't have him in the poll.

No he's not.

I think Weitering will be a forward from here so I wouldn't have him in the poll.

Spent some time up forward earlier this year, but long term he's viewed as a defender. Has been playing down back of late.

Lever is AA quality against the second and third forwards, Andrews at 20 is taking on the #1 opposition forwards and is for the most part winning or breaking even. Andrews is very fast Shaking the potential tag and becoming top 5 KPD.

Who did he play on last week because Patton and Cameron were the two best on grounds.

He seems to otherwise be getting 3 goals kicked on him most weeks with a few games with 1 goal kicked on him and a few with 4+ which isn't too bad in that side though.

Yeah, given 60 + entries against us it is pretty damn hard not to concede goals. Last week was a real battle for he and Mcstay and they lost the battle, but they had a lot going against them.
