I would have thought two decimal places would be standard when asking for a measurement. One for politeness, and one for courage.
Yeah ****en oath campaigner. Spot on.

I'll look past the fact that you used Google.

I'm the obvious winner given question was asked in metres

Great work.
it was a guess so i googled
wow, only 2 completed without mishap and 2 others were remounted their horses
no wonder the animal libs started whining about the race

also found this while i was googling

astonishing!!

ummm ok let me think of a question...
ok a weird one

what was the name of John Singletons horse who he only ran in the Melbourne Cup so it would be a long way in front in the first lap of the Melbourne Cup? of course it finished tailed off.

Watch all the Velka Parbudicka replays. Now that's some serious steepling.

When was the last Werribee Cup run on the Wednesday before the Melbourne Cup

I can remember some filly in red and black with yellow sleeves backing up to win the Matriarch in around 2006 so will guess then.

I'll go with 1995 THE 2600M version
That was the last 2600m Werribee Cup however they ran it over 2000m from then for a number of years before they redid the track
