How was the vomit-inducing front page story re Jack Darling's baby pain, re missing the birth of his child? He plays footy instead and the WCE PR dept goes into overdrive to write a feel good story about how difficult it was for him. The chip on my shoulder says the corresponding story about a Freo player would be how they have their priorities wrong...

Bodes well for filling that new stadium next year. Both clubs will probably become financial liabilities due to low crowds

I'm not so sure about that. I think he may have done what Judd did. Play for 5-6 years and make a name for yourself then go back home on big money.

Not real great only having 1 more win than Freo playing Dad's army with a strong flavour of vanilla and soft serve through a lot of the younger players. The team is absolutely nowhere near flag quality, they really need an overhaul.

Shame about JJ resigning our outside game could have been something to see with him , the hills and Bennell
Might have even been enough to cover that KPF we are destined never to get , if Goldylocks missing from the edge of the goal square wasn't a sure sign the footy gods are saying ...yeah...nah...it won't be happening then I don't know what is. I think we may need to try an unconventional approach....a swarm of bees and chaos balls into the 50 perhaps

JJ is a good player, but I am not sure how him bursting from the back half to bomb it on top of the head of our undersized forwards makes us better. Bob Murphy would make our forwards look better. As would Pendlebury or any other great kick. Average kicks makes your forwards look worse.
