Hope he can live up to the hype ...

Solid effort, forward pressure and a goal is all we should expect

He's pretty raw so cut him some slack but celebrate the good stuff

A good game for Hmac would be 10-12 disposals,3-4 marks and 1-2 goals, actually that would be a very good game.

Just crash some packs, neutralise contests, apply defensive pressure when the ball hits the ground and don't spoil Charlie.

A few contested marks is a bonus.

A goal is heaven.

I think he'll really enjoy having a free run at an airborne football.

hey. wrong thread I know. but i'm coming to melbourne in 2 weeks, (eagles fan), looking to go to Essendon Carlton on the saturday at the G.
all the seats on the AFL website look pretty average, can I get some local advice? would like to sit on the wing somewhere but there are no tickets available. can I buy any ticket and walk anywhere? essendon and carlton will be reasonably full right?

If by 'full' you mean 45,000 seats free then yeah.

In any case the dead centre 'wing' isn't public seating - MCC on one side and AFL members on the other.

Numbers seal of approval

Oh yeah, good on ya Thy, thanks for revealing my pw for big footy

Some speed and better ball movement with Willa and Cuningham in, together with SPS, Lamb, Fisher and Charlie playing more midfield ...

Might be the game to play SPS forward if the ball is coming in more quickly ...

Very excited we have the two Harry Macs playing. For the No.10, would love to see him take one on the lead early on (delivery from Graham, Lamb or SPS) and then perhaps some clever work (knocks the ball on instead of marking) to the advantage of Wrighty, Jack and others ... one of his chase down tackles would be special too.

The other Harry Mac has exceeded my expectations this year in what 8 senior matches already. Great we are getting games into him.

I have a feeling about big Harry... just something about the way he has been handled - the confidence with which he has tweeted, the way he's been emergency, etc. it's like he is a stallion whose reigns they have been holding back

Watching him in the 2s, he has excellent size, good hands, and the raw skills to be a dominant CHF. What I need to see is afl calibre mobility. If he shows that on Sunday, we know we have something. If he can't move, then his skill set really makes him a very raw ruckman and his prospects frankly aren't good

Bear in mind that at this stage his tank is very poor and he won't get to nearly enough contests. His kicking, both field and for goal is also sub par, and he won't do much to help our defensive structure. That's fine - those things will come.

TLDR - watch his mobility, ability to separate from his man and get to contests. If he can do those things on Sunday, rejoice and don't hesitate to name your firstborn after him
