He is a one way runner and Adelaide had a lot more ball in the second half.
The other issue is we use him to inside the congestion needs to be outside runningbthrough at pace recieving handballs more.

Being he is injured groin and or hip cant be too harsh was great in the first half.

Some posters in the GameDay thread in the first half were crowing about how well Blair and Langdon were going and how lots of people had egg on their face for ever doubting them.

Draw against Adel (50 points up??? And why did we get up? Cause crows had outs and are no doubt in a high training load readying for sept)
3pt loss to Giants (another choke. GWS had half their side out and only 1 on the bench for the 4th)

It's our culture under Bucks. Choke choke and more choke. I don't care we can pull something out our butts and almost beat top 4 sides. We get embarrassed by crap teams like Carlton and basically everyone else.

If I was going to look at this game without bias.. Goldsack and Dunn are the first 2 I'd show the door to. Stick with Shazam Crisp Maynard and Howe down back and make our defence water tight with 2 quality young to mid aged kpb's. Hopefully McLarty explodes onto the scene next yr and we get another good 1 in the trade.

Look the guy has had a good career, but he is no longer the future of our club. I'm not sure what you are bothered arguing about. Should not have been selected after last week. Is it his fault. Langdon had to be smarter. He should have waited until the umpire called play-on and then bounced the ball. That would have given the Crows a point and then we could have wasted the last ten seconds with a kick-in.

I wouldn't go that far. He contributed early like everyone else. The fact that he didn't play absolutely terrible like he usually does, makes his game look a lot better.

It was a poor decision to take the tacklers on with that many minutes remaining. I'd rather he kick it 40 meters & we are 90 defending 90 meters than turn it over on the 50 & give them a big chance to score. He thinks he is Dustin martin with his fends but get pinge3d repeatedly. never learns from it either.

Yep, he obviously never learnt that the first option is almost always the best. Same goes for Fas.

They think they are being creative by holding the ball, when in fact all they do is give the opposition opportunity to close them and the options down.

That's what makes Wells stand out. He sees the option immediately and gives it instinctively.

Lots of positives out of that match. If we can play like that PLUS Pendlebury and MINUS a couple of the passengers in our team just imagine where we can get up to next season. Still really disappointing haha that's three super closer ones in a row (GWS-MELB-ADEL).

Pendles played vs Melbourne tell me howd that go after being up by 30 at one point?

Pendles is a great player but I dont think he tirns a lot of games tjrough individual impact like Buckley was capable of and to a lesser extent Swan was.

He was barely sighted for 3 quarters...did a few good things in the last and a few poor things. Really typical Blair game.

He should not play again. Time to get games into Kirbinator and hopefully Daicos a game in the last match.
