Wasn't the run of the race, but still a very good run. They went lightning, far too fast for the big Russian

And yet Super Too, an inferior horse, went only slightly slower over basically the same trip, and managed to stroll in... go figure.

would be nice if Vince could get the times within 6L of what they actually ran. maybe less time on giving phallus and a little more double checking nonsensical times eh. like just a small double check please.

I can’t log out as I have no idea what my login details are. What did Malph say? Nathan Snow is 1000x more respected than that coat tugger Malph.

It sounds like it’s in reference to Malph not posting his results?

just use a different browser that isn't logged in?

it originated from Walphy wanting to have an opinion on Avdullas comments on the Everest, Snowy got stuck in back.

Widely known that Walphy doesn't even bet, amazed that so many idiots are paying for his advice when he has zero confidence in himself to actually bet.

Ralph criticised Avdulla for a stupid ride saying he wrongly blamed the Randwick track. Then proceeded to pump up Vince Accardi for correctly predicting 6 lanes outside to be a death trap.

Then had a go at at Nathan etc

Ralphy tweeting that Sheicat (who he tipped) was the run of the race, although it led with the worlds best rider on, on a leaders track, and couldn't win...

#shitralphysays

It was such a good run that the only reason it didn’t win Saturday was because it was a little flat from such a massive effort.

Or so Ralphy says

Naturally. I believe Vince had his phallus in his rear end at the time.

More weight related scoffing this week. It’s fast becoming unlistenable the way they carry on. Maybe I’ll say something at their pre-Caulfield Cup lunch on Friday that’s $200pp but you get sent home with Vince’s IVR ratings, which you can’t put a price on. And I believe they will soon be sending out their coffee mugs for subscribers. No, I am not making that up. The funniest one was the $260 yearly membership that you get like $400 of Ralphie Bucks (+FREE MUG)

Oh God that’s amazing. Has Nathan Snow signed up just to troll him? Can we throw in some money and get an N Snow statue outside headquarters?

The answer to the first is a definite yes.

Also I think Nathan may own or have a share in the subject horse which is the backstory of the tweet.

Just looking at Malphs app, he’s managed to update a couple of meetings which is good of him. Off the top of my head I looked at the last 9 meetings. 4 haven’t been updated (ie-brutal losses) There was 1 winning day +40 and 4 losing days that added up to something near -350.

What gets me is the lack of care. If you can’t at a bare minimum update it at the end of the day and be accountable, what’s the ****ing point. I just don’t understand how he would have any subscribers. It’s just mind boggling how consistently wrong you can be with apparently the best data available.

IMO Vince Accardi is an inept racing analyst. IMO he's a great data monkey - ie he's great at clocking their splits, albeit often late. However he seems to have - bafflingly - made the leap that because he's really good at timing the horses splits, he must also be really good at analysing that data and predicting winners. There is no reason to make this leap. One does not equal the other.

However, Vince trots around the various media outlets and podcasts talking up his self styled benchmarks and Incremental Velocity Ratings, making embarrassing predictions and startling claims (like weight has no impact, in this physics governed world of ours).

Vince with his data is a little like a mule with a spinning wheel: no one knows how he got it and danged if he knows how to use it.

Unfortunately for Ralphy and for all those who dare question his selections, he has jumped onto the Vince bandwagon with the zealotry of a reborn Christian. Ralphy stated that it was after hearing Vince on the radio that he realised he had to get more in depth. So, Ralphy, taken in by Vince's patented meaningless buzz words, decides he wants in too. So he starts up a service, tipping horses to people. If Vince's methods were any good, then Ralphy would be at least able to tip them a winner, however the results speak for themselves.

As others have mentioned Ralphy doesn't bet. Thing is, neither does Vince (or at most he's a $5 punter). So, the great data wizard and his sidekick are so confident in their theories that neither of them have the courage to actually back one of their selections.

It's a farce. Vince should stick to monkeying the times and stop thinking about what it means, while Ralphy should stick to, well, I don't know really.

I did find this picture of Vince though. This is him explaining his benchmarks and incremental velocity ratings and the magic of how the laws of physics don't apply on a racetrack:
