It started pouring the very second I hit the like button on your post :(
Where are you? The sun is actually starting to break through here.

"RAINFALL records are expected to fall, flash flooding is feared and high winds threaten chaos as South Australia is hit by extreme weather on the first day of summer today. ... Adelaide is expected to wake to heavy rain lasting from about 3am until 9am."

Rain since midnight 0.6 mm o_O

If it tastes like a malt milkshake it ain't beer.

It tasted like both in the most amazing way. I don’t expect you to take my word for it though. I hope they make it again (but they probably won’t now because it doesn’t taste like Crown Lager)

Pirate Life becoming like Crown lager... like a dagger through my heart. :'(

glory be me I was visiting the missus's native lands in Europe and I'll be damned if I understand the logic of it but pint of beer = $1 . Bottle of water = $3.

Obviously no water saw my lips until I returned to Australia

Having said that , if they tried to raise alcohol prices in that country the government would be dragged onto the streets and shot.

Sounds like Poland to me (?)

Decent lagers and quite a few good dark beers too. Not as dry as Czech brews. Little need for the hundred different variations on over-hopped bitterness that passes for “crafty” here.

There really are way too many beers on the market these days.

I like the IPAs but it's not something I can drink too many of. They're a good starter before getting stuck into something else.

These things are superb and available at Dan Murphy's. There's a black goat on the label, what's not to like?

Craft beer wankdom. Seriously over rated. There's some decent ones out there don't get me wrong, but there's a lot of shit that gets passed off as "interesting". Mate has his own label. I can't drink more than 3 of them. Why would I pay $90 for a carton of 330ml cans again?

“Craft beer isn’t for me” would have sufficed.

And ffs dudes, hoppy IPA’s and IIPA’s aren’t the be all and end all of the beer range. If you don’t like that flavour profile try a Weissbeir, a Saison, a Porter, a Stout, a Session lager, or just stick to your mass produced 30 packs and let others enjoy. It’s not hard.

Close. Lithuania

Home of Rinkuskiai, the producers of this questionable piece of label art.

Over-hopped beers are like extra hot vindaloos; designed for blokes whose palate can only discern course flavour profiles and think that the 'extreme' end of the spectrum is the best.

That's exactly what happens when I visit one. It's like a good steak house having a fish option - quality but not their main line of business. They're not the be all and end all but those hoppy things are their main line of business. No FFS required ;)

To me, Coopers standard green, red and black models are both beers and craft beers. Brown ale is ok but I've always thought there was something missing from it. Had a flatmate once who was like a koala to eucalyptus leaves with that ****, she decided to move in when she saw some in my fridge and then for two years proceeded to drink nothing else.
