5 - down in the flood - great track. The guitar solo at the end of this was tucking sick. Good to see el dub go from my billy to my five.
4 - dry the rain - loved the build up this had. Really enjoyable song. Started off a bit mellow but still intriguing.
3 - don’t work at yellow snow suite - frank zappa is just a crazy and eccentric bastard and I wouldn’t have him any other way.
2 - butterflies and hurricanes - one of the best tracks from the last decent muse album (bhar was “ok”)
1 - it never rains in Southern California - no idea why this one resonated with me so well but it was a really great song.
Hm - only happy when it rains (pretty sure I’ve voted for this before - great song but above were better)
Here comes the rain again (Annie Lennox. I mean. Need I say more? I love the strings in this)
Franz Ferdinand - Ulysses (great track even if it sounded a little mainstream)
Vaughan Monroe - Let it Snow (expected this to be my billy. But his beautiful baritone voice saved it. Was quite pleasant)
Snow Patrol - crack the shutters (surprisingly good song for this band I frankly don’t think much of)
Singing in the rain - impossible not to smile as you watch this dick head literally running around in the pouring rain.
Ccr - who’ll stop the rain (best of the whores. I can see this winning)
I can see clearly - I love this song. Though this version is ok it’s not as good as the cover. Yeah I said it. Fight me.
Dishonourable mentions - boring dull shit from something for Kate (sorry marklar), smashing pumpkins, bob Dylan (no shocker there), the tide is high (one of my least favourite blonde songs), Leonard Cohen(yeah he’s a dead campaigner - so what. I find him almost as dull as Dylan. Sue me)
Oh yeah and ******* Peter Gabriel who came so mother******* close to my billy. That song ate penis.
And a bunch of others.
Billy - the end of the rainbow (the second half of this playlist was awfully disappointing save for the above two I voted for but this was probably the most dull and unlikaeble song)
Not in a million years would I have picked that as your nom
I regret not Billying singing in the rain
DreadfulSixth...
I'll take it, not a bad return to the comp

HAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
after worrying it would happen to me it actually happened to someone.
In 2nd Place is Sweet Cloud by The Kills with 32 votes and 1 Billies. (554B4545) Nommed by brahj
Which means the runaway winner is this overrated pos song. I'm disgusted disgusted that it has won my round.
In 1st Place is No Rain by Blind Melon with 43 votes and 4 Billies. (4453155B53B5B3) Nommed by William Wonka
Anyways. Theme Wonky.
Dreadful
Shithouse nomination and even shitter voting. So many great songs to vote for and people pick that dross?!?
Do people actually LISTEN to Garbage with their ears open and hear how bad they are?
They represent everything that was bad about 90s music
. Well done on the moral podium .
. Should've finished higher
