Adalita from Magic Dirt was a 90s female rock hero.





My sister looked up to her when she learnt to rock.

I said she's a good female rock model.

I also said Courtney Love is a good female rock model.

All good advice there.

Adalita had quite a crush on an old mate of mine.
She met him at a tram stop in the middle of the night in 93 or 94 and stalked him a bit.
He was a one of the biggest polydrug takers ive ever known (and thats against some pretty stiff competition) broke as **** and far from the best looking bloke in the world and I never knew another women to look twice at him.

He was also one of the funniest and most decent people I've ever known.
She looked straight past the scumbag exterior and saw the champion bloke he was.

I had a massive crush on Ella Hooper of Killing Heidi fame, she reminded me of one my old female housemates.
