Why was there so much injury time in the Real Juve game?

There were originally 4 minutes of injury time and right at the end of it a penalty was awarded to Real Madrid and Buffon and his teammates tried to have an orgy with Michael Oliver. That took up a considerable amount of time and at the end of it all , Buffon was red carded and Real Madrid scored from the penalty spot to advance.

I always thought the players were, for the most part, fairly likeable by neutrals, plus I assumed most people hated Madrid and so would back the team that has a decent record against them. Guess I was wrong though.

Feel sorry for whoever plays Ref Madrid. They’re going to be up against twelve players.

Most of us would believe you if a ref was only worth the one player. More like up against 14.

Italian sides doing remarkably better than a lot of experts here thought. Maybe some respect will finally be given to other leagues other than epl and Barca/Real/Bayern.

Btw Spain miles in front of co-efficient but difference between Italy and England is minimal 61.923 v 61.750.

Still think Real Madrid or Bayern will win it.

Who ever says they don't?

Juventus are generally always sniffing around the top 5 teams in the world.
Napoli have been dangerous for the better part of 10 years and were one of the favourites for the Europa league but slipped up.
Lazio and Roma have put together strong squads.

The only difference is that the historically terrifying AC Milan teams and a strong Inter are missing.

In the Europa league, if Arsenal go through I certainly won't be rubbing my hands with glee if we are drawn with Lazio (although we've never lost to Lazio in our massive 4 previous meetings )

I like the football they play and i like Klopp too. I guess being underdogs helps too.

Their fans on here deserve some success too with the amount of shit they have to put up with.

I dont hate Banyern, but theres nothing really that sticks out that makes you guys likeable to me.

well I'm not German, but yes Bayern is most hated club in the country, though Leipzig is working on taking over that title

Hahaha last minute penaldo and shirt off is the best way to finish this game. Brilliant meltdown by Buffon too (he obviously shat himself at the prospect of facing Ronnie). I couldn't ask for more, what a great couple of days.

The cheating club Juve aren't used to refs making the right calls and think its ok to bash them. Now they're sent packing back to their corrupt league with another show of dominance from the best Spanish team. There's no curve balls left for UEFA to throw at us now as they tried so hard to get us knocked out in the r16 and QF yet it backfired as we knocked out all the favs and Barca + City are gone.
