I am more interested in the gravity of the charges. I assume it can't be commercial trafficking or it would be an outrageous act of bias to release him.

Now the courts/police either have to clear up the ambiguities, release the other co-accused, or revoke Thompson's bail and incarcerate him, when the co-accused goes back in to court with their bail application.

Does this raise any queries over Geelong’s time at the top? There’s the obvious link of Bomber, Charters and Dank. The subsequent Essendon scandal that proved the 3 of them were up to their eyeballs in it. Now this suggesting that Bomber himself is and has been trafficking illicit drugs, I acknowledge it’s not the same as PEDs, but if he’s moving one, given his profession, it stands to reason he’s moving the other. That and Geelong suddenly becoming invincible to the tune of 120 point grand final wins. It’s certainly got an awful smell about it...

Reserve Magistrate Leonard Brear granted bail on condition Thompson not use drugs, reside in his Port Melbourne warehouse, surrender his passport, report to police tree times a week and inform authorities if he has to travel interstate on business.

He was also ordered not to associate with co-accused including Karl Holt, Mr Windsor and Katia Drcec and Karl “Bang Bang” Holt.

He had the shirt off, beads around the neck. He was in party mode. Plus doesn’t he spend half the year in the Northern Territory? Grog yes but barely the capital of partying. Stokes probably just another bloke celebrating a flag with drugs - plenty do it and as much lower levels.
