I wouldn’t completely discard that , some of our emerging players are on peanuts like 200+ possibly 5 or more senior players . I could see some of those like butler and others being offered double that when they come out of contract . Perhaps we can accomodate with the larger cap , maybe not. No doubt it would limit us with another 1m player on the list . Don’t forget rance will come out of contract in 2019 , he reasonably would expect a raise

If we lost 2 of our mid range players this year it wouldn't be the worst thing, hopefully they would nett good picks in a great draft, relieve a bit of cap pressure and we have young guys busting to get in the side anyway who may even end up better players.

Say we lost B Ellis and Bolton. we should get 2 picks under 25, we land Lynch as a free agent, then go to the draft with 3 picks in first 25 and only losing 2 players who we have ample depth to cover.

Never nice to lose Premiership players but this year is the year for the club to be a bit brave IMO

Corey i agree lucky to get anything.Bellis & Mcintosh are expendable imo.Its. not just about Lynch.We havn't drafted a decent mid for a while.Need a quality young mid as an understudy to Cotch.
