Great to see Murph and Pickett back.

Does feel like we’re slowly getting the band back together... as in the band for our future...
Weitering CHB, Garlett HB, Cripps and Kennedy in the square, Fish wing, forward line of Charlie, Dow, Samo, Pickett, Polson & Silvagni.

Going to be good to see Simmo hit the milestone. Hope the boys do him proud.

Go Blues.

Forward line and mid is OK.

Defence has been decimated though with doc, willo, byrne, marchbank and now plowman.

5 starting young defenders...all likely part of our defence moving forward.

Simmo has done more media this week than the last 10 years.

Hope he's okay Saturday, I reckon he hates this stuff.

Passy ya cranky bastard we need to tee up some froathies next time im down in Perth.

About as good a set of changes as you can hope for under the circumstances. Reasonably on track for a strong finish to the year, assuming Murphy's foot doesn't fall off during the game.

Just looking at those 5, and it’s staggering how many games of senior footy Craig Bradley played.

Read somewhere his Carlton, Port (SANFL) and state games added together is over 500.
Bradley and SOS over 50, Doull nearly 70, and they all look like they could still do some damage in the VAFA. I don't care what genetics you have, that's incredible testament to looking after your body.

Nicky G gonna tear it up
What - his future contract hopes?
Like a tractor stuck in the mud

And Gartlett.
no

Some handy changes there. Pickett and Polson should hopefully cause some issues at ground level with Pickett also lethal in the air.
Graham will get his 20 but probably be a net negative due to no defensive spread, although we may have the running power to somewhat compensate.

LOB's GPS numbers must have been trending down.

Possibly (don't have access to that info), but he is a first year player that has just played 10 games straight …. maybe if he had gotten his 17-18 touches against the pies he would have stayed in.... maybe. That is a great solid block of games to inject into a young kid :) Pretty sure the club just wants to give him a week off to breathe again ;)

Some good ins, O'Brien has been good but a rest is probably fine, I like his efforts.

Polson and Pickett, I'll be happy if they bring the efforts and the pressure and attack the footy. Really good to see Pickett in there.

Murphy, forgot about this guy, I hope he's given a more peripheral role, forward line and wing.

Phillips is a pretty decent ruck, no problems there, Kreuzer due for a rest.

Casboult picked with Kerr as emergency, I think we might be waiting.

Graham, well he dominates the VFL, yet to have the same level of game in the AFL. Can only leave him on the ball for most of the game and see.

Some good ins this week, particularly my man Pickett. Looking forward to the difference he will make to our forward set up.

Kerr's selection as an emergency perhaps points to a touch of doubt over Levi's fitness. Having done the finger injury in the warm up on Sunday afternoon, I'm not sure the wound on his finger would have properly healed yet & the risk of infection can't be ruled out.

Hope to see Phillips push forward when the opportunity exists, because he has good hands & can take a good contested mark close to goal.

A Cripps, Kennedy, Murphy, Curnow starting midfield looks a lot better than what we had prior to the bye. If Power are even slightly off their game, we could win enough of the ball to push them all the way.

and played Cricket most summers for a good decade or more of that football career. Shield cricket for SA and Victoria for a few games too.

LOB’s no where near ready to play at this level. He should be developing in the 2’s. Skills have been poor to date and no physical presence or break away speed...

Can run like Callum Chambers though...

Need to put in a large one for Simmo.

Excited to see what Polson and Pickett can do at ground level.

Does excite me them both in team in front half. About bloody time we started to get players on the park we really want out there. Murphy back too is a real lifter for us. Hope that foot is really ready to go. Could really use his class out there.
