IMO, GCS need all the help they can get. Losing their 3 best players in two years (Ablett, May, Lynch) from a team that was bottom 5 team with them, they will continue to struggle for some time.

It was mentioned on MMM this morning that the AFL has put the hard word on players and clubs to keep trade talks in the back ground this week as they want the media and football attention to be on the GF only.
It may be the reason not much has come out publicly.

Darling was touted as a top 10 pick but was a naughty boy in his draft year and put recruiters off... shows how dumb recruiters are for falling for it. We got Charlie in similar circumstances.

I think most clubs have good Intel on players character.

I'm pretty sure he got towelled up by a certain M Watson at the 18's and that had a fair bit to do with it.

Byrne will be a better player than Lamb.
