I think it was season 3 (2003) that had a lame "Big Brother is a hard ass on nominations" theme. What I remember is housemates in the diary room would go "I'm nominating Osama because blah blah" then immediately be interrupted with "That's not a good enough reason for Big Brother blah blah" and a tedious, unentertaining back and forth would go on for 90-120 seconds until the housemate said some something that didn't seem much different. * that was stupid.
