Oh okay. I didn't see what was in my upgrade. I was only given one choice of item when I went to the site. Do you have to sign up again to get the extra or is it automatic?

Just tried it and you're right - it only lets you make one selection if renewing online.

Looks like I'll be completing my renewal over the phone. If you give them a buzz they will probably fix it ODN.

I am a country member, got a letter today saying I was being upgraded to Member Zone with Captains Club Home Member. Email did not provide any detail, but when I clicked the email link, the renewal was automatically set to the new category, did not need to anything other than chose members choice item and confirm payment card.

I received the email tonight referring to a letter that was sent out last week detailing my membership upgrade, unfortunately have not seen this yet.

I did check out the email link and it looks like my 3 game membership has been upgraded to General Admission. Most years i dont get to Melbourne during the season so the upgrade wont be that useful for me.

I dont pay via Direct Debit so i did think that would rule me out of an upgrade but appears not.

The general admission upgrade is a "walk up reserved seating members zone" on level 1

Yeah it's a great initiative by the club to do this but I won't be exercising my upgrade option. I hate level 1 and always sit in GA higher up - don't mind being a bit further away to actually get a decent view.

Maybe it will be useful for the really popular games - if we have any of those in 2019.

Says if I want to cancel or amend my memberships (not that I'm planning to), to do so by 11th Oct.

I Iike that they've added the junior pack back into the interstate membership. Would still like to see an initiative to better engage with interstate members though, especially for the kids.

Every year I think i must get to Melbourne and catch a game but usually dont. Perhaps 2019 will be the year.

Even Baby Barnacle got a membership upgrade of sorts! He's been invited to some sort of Kids Day Out at Ikon Park next year. I'm assuming it's just the usual family day, which everyone is invited to, but this year his membership pack has a CAPE.
