How much do you want for tickets and where are the seats? Thanks
The seats are at the AO and the tickets are being sold at face value? If you're a good looking rooster that could be quite a lot. Best to downplay that a little.

I'm not sure I agree with your summation. He had a massive purple patch, and it was still a really, really good game overall, but it wasn't anywhere near, say, BOG in my opinion.
Yeah I saw it the same way.. Still think it was a really good game, when the game was hot and the Pies won he was huge.
It wasn't a 4 quarter domination by any stretch

He may not have been BOG but I think he won the game for them. In the first half he was marking everything and kicking goals, the Tiges were mentally rattled afterward and were never in it after that.

Here goes (I know its a bit early)

Zuthrie Stewart(on DeGoey) Henry
CGuthrie Blicavs Taylor
Duncan JSelwood Parfitt
Ablett Hawkins Atkins
Rohan Sav Dalhouse
Stanley Danger Kelly
Narkle Clark SSelwood Constable

Not real happy with that, but when I put Kolo on DeGoey it looked top heavy in defense.

Watched that game twice. He was BOG imho. Won the game, was the difference, made Tiges look inept in defence. Was a beautiful thing to watch.

Much the same as the 2011 GF with Hawkins. He turned the match on its head in that 3rd quarter which was a major reason we won the game. I still think he should have won the Norm Smith Medal that day.

Same with Tom Boyd in their GF win. Very similar effect.

Interestingly, in 11, I thought SJ played his best game for a in a final, better than 07. Very disciplined and high impact.

On one leg too which was pretty impressive. I'm still not sure how Hawkins didn't win it.

Hawk, Bartel, SJ - could not separate them.

Maybe the misses in front of goal; one more conversion would have got him over the line?

9 towering marks which included one 20 out which he dished off to Johnson.

If he kicked straight he would have... 6 or 7 goals would have been too hard to ignore. Jimmy and Sel kept us in it that game though when we were in strife and either could have won...

Boyd was absolutely robbed that day in my opinion... JJ got a lot of it and gave them drive but didn't get near hitting a target for the first half. Boyd was huge and the difference

(completely off topic I have just realised)

Not completely off topic.
Hawkins, (Cox,) Boyd-- the value of a power forward may be magnified with this 6 6 6 set up.

Cox is as likely to mark everything that comes near him as he is to not contribute at all. He had a great Prelim but he is not superstar just yet.
My biggest worry about him is his sheer size and the pack of small forwards the Pies will have racing round his feet at the drop of the ball, with no Bews or Tuohy we are likely to be stretched there IMO
Let's be honest. No one here would be surprised if they rushed either of them into the R1 team underdone. Woods smalls are worrying, and we look to have got them in the 6 week period Elliott will be fit for.

Jim kept us in it when we were under the pump.
Hawk nails a couple of those goals from those marks and he wins the Normie.

Mention of SS being a certain starter next Friday v Pies after no JLT.
Must be highly respected.

Really? I thought we looked zippier than last year.....The Dons are far from slow and didnt put space to us at all last week...

Fair call and agreed; but I think what I’m getting at is and no expert obviously but our kick to hand ball ratio makes transition look slower or vulnerable to interception in a way that wrangles for instance not.

Would need at least a VFL practice run you would think?
Even so, expecting some tears if he is named...
Sounded like he's in listening to 360

Huh? Still listed as a test for friday night vfl. And he would need to get through the game. No way is he a certain starter.

Jed Bews is listed as groin 1-2 weeks. Back running.

My guess

B: Jordan Clark - Mark Blicavs - Jack Henry
HB: Tom Stewart - Jake Kolodjashnij - Mark O'Connor
C: Cam Guthrie - Joel Selwood - Mitch Duncan
HF: Brandon Parfitt - Esava Ratagolea - Gary Rohan
F: Gary Ablett - Tom Hawkins - Luke Dahlhaus
R: Rhys Stanley - Patrick Dangerfield - Tim Kelly
I: Zach Guthrie - Harry Taylor - Sam Menegola - Tom Atkins

Personally I wouldn't pick Cam Guthrie, Taylor or Rohan, but I think they'll all play.
Maybe I'm wrong, but I don't think they'll force all of JK, Blitz, Taylor, Hendo and Henry into our backline, although it wouldn't surprise.

Woods more attuned to their game plan than the cats with their “new” game plan. Worried about woods small forwards. Elliot, Thomas, Varcoe and co look super dangerous. No Bews, Tuohy and Clarke got caught out twice against tipungwuti for two goals. Allow space for Elliot, Thomas and co.. and it’s good night. They bat way deep in the middle and look zippy. Up against it I think.

Do you know how many of the best small defenders will get caught out by that guy this year. He is a star and could be AA this year I reckon.
