Is Butters a must have? I think I've nailed the rookies pretty well.

I'm thinking Hore to Butters by swinging Duursma to the backline.

I've got some grave concerns about Dusty and Heeney... I'm contemplating Dusty to Brayshaw.
This will be a good move IMO

Butters not a must have ....just remember Port have had 2 wins early and the Rookies are fresh ....if you haven't started him, don't chase him & waste a trade now

I can go Heeny > Caleb Daniel, Then Atkins > Sheed.

Then I just have to hope Goldy comes good. Had Lycett for a lot of pre-season too.

Thinking Heeney to Worpel to generate some cash, since Heeney is spudding it up.

Also have Goldstein.... do I trade down to Lycett, then when Grundy drops, bring in Grundy and send Lycett FWD?

Do we think Lycett will be a Top 6 FWD?

1) do you think Lycett will have a top 6 forward average once you remove his 167?
It doesn't matter if he does overall if you didn't have him for it.

2) career high disposals on the weekend (record by a whole 5 touches). Is he the next Grundy or was it just a spike game? Pretty confident it's the latter but your team.

Goldie got a ton of taps at centre bounces but our mids weren't set up for them and the opposition sharked them. If the centre set up is changed so our mids actually position for where he hits will make a huge difference for HTA and his scoring.

I'm holding and keeping a keen eye on this?

Isaac Heeney #supercoach averages

2019
LOSES (2) =76
less than 20 disp (2) =76

2018*
LOSES (8) =84
WINS (14) =103

less than 20 disp (7) =84
20 or more disp (15) =102
I'm giving Heeney another week, Swans should beat the Blues & I expect at least a 90 from Isaac.

Otherwise Caleb Daniel looms on the horizon.

Should be considering no trades but

Hanley plus Heeney
To
Newman plus Worpel

is starting at me and my need to trade out of habit is still there.

Someone talk me out of it.

Footywire normally have sc breakevens up by now, hope they are still doing it.

Anywhere else to get BE's without having to cough up?

EDIT: I know SC Gold free trial for 2 weeks

if you ask on here people will usually tell you, but obviously dont ask for 30 players unless your dishing out puppies

i can help you out tho

The only two I'm looking at are Tkelly and Macrae. 99% sure I won't get either, but wish I'd started both over Dunkley and Selwood.

Do I trade Dusty and Higgins to (Pre-Trade Rookie Structure: On Field 3-3-2. $61k in bank):

Lloyd and Rozee/Miers (2-4-3, ~$260k in bank).
OR
Neale and Rozee/Miers (3-3-3, ~$260k in bank).
OR
Sloane and Boak/Dahlhaus (3-3-2, $15k/$85k in bank).
Id take C.

Should be my week for rookie corrections, but I'm not sure there will be much to be gained. I can't afford to update to better performed, expensive rookies and I don't really want too many expensive ones anyway.

It is important rookies are playing and earning money though, so it will probably come down to whether or not either Balta or Hore are recalled. Balta could well replace the injured Reiwoldt and with May's injury and the rest of the Melbourne defence being invisible against Geelong Hore must be a good chance to return. If Balta doesn't play Balta>Miers looks the obvious trade. If Hore misses again the options aren't great with maybe Hore>Wilkie being the best affordable.

Just on this - it's likely the price difference between him and Walsh is going to remain similar.

Currently a tick under 200k.

If Rockliff finishes round 6 averaging 120 (premo average, extended run of form, Wines back in the side by this = basically a very safe pick) and Walsh averages 80, the difference will be a tick over 200k (Rockliff 525k Walsh 315k).

He isn't going to become insurmountably expensive in the short-medium term.

I agree with your concerns and hence I'm going to wait and see if Rockliff can keep it up. Walsh will become Rockliff after round 6 if so because it's really only 10-20k more expensive to do that than it was at the start of the year. The loss of points in the meantime is made up by having a lot of safety behind the pick, only random injury concern left (which every player has).

wise words.
Holding off on Rockliff for the time being

So many issues to be dealt with including Dusty, Goldy and Weeney. Basically i'm looking to try and do the following over the next few weeks...

Dusty > Rockpig
Atkins > LDU (I like what i am seeing!)
Goldy > Gawn
Heeney > Kiera
Zac W > Seagull

Thoughts?
Haven't watched the game yet, did LDU actually look alright?
Scott was talking in his presser about you guys not winning out of the centre, so he may then change that line up that includes LDU??
Ando and Ahern to come back in???

Can you talk me into picking him up?

Is Boak likely to get less Mid Time once Wines comes back? Or will someone else take the hit for that.
Boak is back as part of the midfield rotations with both Polec and Wingard gone. Looks a good bet and fwds are thin on the ground this year

Getting plenty of the ball and using it well. Looks like he's gone from a 1st year player to a 5th year+ player in the space of 1 pre season. Excellent JS as well.

Is Darcy Moore worth getting? It would either be Andrew McGrath or Callum Mills making way
Am thinking him as well. Looking the goods at CHB and Collingwood appear to be playing a keepings off style of game so lots of seagull kicks around the backline.
