I am saying they won't be able to adapt to the game plan that the Hawks and Kangaroo use for a majority of the game to counter ours, Port Power also like to play with space which we like as well, and these kids will start to struggle 2 months into the season.

I’m not a football savant - this football club is just so weak, so spineless, so boring, so predictable and so disgusting in its disdain for its own supporter base that you knew what the f*ck the future held before it even happened.

The fact this f*cking football club had the gall to force Kyle Cheney into retirement because our list was ‘so good’ we apparently couldn’t find space for a guy who was as tough as nails, played above his size, worked the angles impeccably and was so courageous and team oriented that it was often to his own detriment is disgusting list management beyond belief.

Watching Kelly and Hartigan perform their comedy routine in our dysfunctional backline and seeing Mackay (who by now is a Hall of Fame list clogger) float around doing nothing just plops that cherry down on the shit flavoured cake that is the Adelaide Football Club.

It's pretty easy to recruit better when they constantly have access to higher draft picks - at pick #5 Rozee was a no-brainer - he's that good even Port will struggle to stuff him up.

I like Jones but we seemed to be asleep at the wheel last trade period while we let Port's little brother syndrome beat us to the best SA talent as well as higher picks just before ours in the first round.

Yep....we also recruited small....because we have long term contracted ELITE players....in Jenkins, Lynch and Walker....plus our Mids are Elite (although smashed by bottom placed North) .....looks like the 2018 superdraft could become the draft we missed....that others hit.....which kills us for the next 6-8 years

Is that Pyke started CEY every quarter in the centre square over Brad Crouch. Every f***ing quarter, for significant periods as well.

You know the guy averaging 29.6 possessions and 1.33 goals a game, arguably our best player, being replaced by the journeyman borderline SANFL / AFL player.

CEY was in there to counter/tag Cunnington who starts there every quarter and isn't the quickest of player.

I think our fans need to make some noise and demand change. I want it to happen this week. Anyone remember when we were tipped to go unbeaten in 2017 and in about round 4 kangaroos kicked 70 points to zero by quarter time? I do. We keep losing the same way. Picking the wrong players, dropping the wrong players. He needs to be gone by next match. Have a care taker coach for as long as it takes, Find someone, and bring in a whole new team.

Crouch only had four contested possessions tonight.

Crazy idea, but I think he might go okay playing mainly forward. Reminds me of early-career Cooney up there.

Gallucci Fogarty Jones McHenry should all be pretty good players if played and if they stick around. Reckon Jones will be the standout. Agree our recruiting has been sub par and the Gibbs trade and our first round trade swap with carlton last year has been a disaster. We had a great opportunity to completely revamp our club with 4 first round picks and 2 the year before. Plus if we had moved on lynch and a few other players with value we could have possibly positioned ourselves with 8 or 9 first round picks spread over 2 drafts. We ****ed up due to incompetence, overrating our list, signing older players into huge long term contracts and arrogance. Was disgusting mismanagement. Please correct me if i'm wrong but i believe mark riccuito and brett burton are in charge of list management/contracts? If they are they need to be terminated immediately and a competent football manager must be brought in.
