I guess the story moved on geographically and they didn't.
Could be a cool fan servicey cameo to have them show up for a big battle, they don't need that much screentime.

On another note while we're hating on women characters, I think the Mormont girl has overstayed her welcome, at least the way the show is using her. Was cool the first time and the actress did a great job, but I'm not sure she really carried the "badass" scene in this episode and I hope it's the last of them.

I can't recall exactly how they got written out, but odds on Tyrion's hillbilly commandos from season 1 make a comeback?
I guess the story moved on geographically and they didn't.
Didn't they die in some battle they got into while they were rolling with Tyrion? Can't remember, man that was a long time ago.

Tywin paid them what they were owed and more and they went home. Varys told Tyrion after he woke up some time later after Battle of Blackwater Bay.

When Tyrion woke after the battle of Blackwater Bay with his face cut up, didn't he request the Tribesmen or something and be told they'd been sent home by Tywin?

Tyrion Lannister: "I am Tyrion, son of Tywin of Clan Lannister."
Shagga: "How would you like to die, Tyrion, son of Tywin?"
Tyrion Lannister: "In my own bed, at the age of 80 with a belly full of wine and a girl's mouth around my ****."

Shagga son of Dolph
.....
And here we have Bronn son of
You wouldn't know him

Yeh, coming around to the Night King being after something other than total domination.
If his motivation was purely total domination he wouldn't have waited 8,000 years to try. Something specific has to have triggered him to gather forces and march south - the question is what.

Need fan service and more dumb people cheer moments like a hole in the head.

Hoping the sunny days vibe this week and the revised opening credits focusing on the castle interiors means they're going all in on a horror story. Cross between The Terror and The Return of the Living Dead. Hopeless, brutal and few survivors.

I'd prefer he not be killed but instead forced back beyond the wall. Anything else would feel anti-climactic in the five episodes we have left.

I guess that depends on then if the Night King survives and flees to fight another day. If he does die so to does the Dragon given all he creates ceases to be when he does.

I suppose everyone has been focused on TNK dying and not if he survives and is defeated another way.

At the meeting/trial? Yeah of course. But we still don't know how far previous to that Bran told her, could have been only hours before. Your assertion that her subterfuge with Arya was pointless only carries some weight if Bran told her before she started doing it - and that's simply info we don't have.

But yeah, as others have said the argument has run its course, agree to disagree :thumbsu:
Just to clear it up, in an interview Bran said the following: We actually did a scene that clearly got cut, a short scene with Sansa where she knocks on Bran’s door and says, “I need your help,” or something along those lines. So basically, as far as I know, the story was that it suddenly occurred to Sansa that she had a huge CCTV department at her discretion and it might be a good idea to check with him first before she guts her own sister. So she goes to Bran, and Bran tells her everything she needs to know, and she’s like, “Oh, s—.

Steps forward to represent Tyrion in trial by combat when crazy old Lysa Arryn is trying to stitch him up at the Eyrie if I remember correctly?

Nope. Before that in the local tavern. He offers his room to tyrion and receives a coin for it.

Then tyrion is arrested by lady stark nee Tully, and somehow bronn follows. In what manner and why i dunno.

It would be nice for the cold king in the north to not simply be evil for the sake of evil.

I reckon he's misunderstood. I mean he copped a dragonglass dagger in full. Wouldn't you be slightly annoyed? I hope he doesnt wanna just come down for an explanation however

I believe Bronn was in the pub when Catelyn captured Tyrion and becomes part of the escort party to the Eyrie. They talk on the road, he hangs about the Eyrie, Lannisters have gold yada yada yada

Ah yep, cheers

Are the Vale are already there? Maybe the hill tribes are there too?

Pretty sure the Hill tribes hate those of the Vale. That was basically how Tyrion got them onside. Promise of weapons etc and that they'd have the Vale themselves.

I'm positive they just drifted off in to their hills never to be seen again.
