Sydney don’t have any yellow on their guernsey though whereas GC do.
Did become difficult viewing at times tonight when there was congestion.

It’s a really underrated effect. Clubs seem to add them because they can get away with them.

But given we view the game from direct centre wing, and the players are most often moving from left to right or right to left, the side panels make a big difference.

Which makes no sense really - if our purple doesn't clash with them on the jumper why does it clash with them on the shorts?

Similar to today - if Carlton's blue-black jumper doesn't clash with the Dogs why can't they wear the same colour shorts?

Our shorts are brown, while the jumper is mostly gold.

Brown and Purple was a bad combo back in 2008-09 when we played them in our away jumpers back then.

Disagree, Carlton wore their full navy kit away vs North in Hobart last year (due to them ditching the grey shorts IIRC). Was absolutely terrible to watch.

Port's new grey clash has raised the level of stupid. They had a perfectly functional white clash and have switched it out for something that is both an eyesore and less functional at doing its one job.

Collingwood’s decision to go to a predominantly black jumper (presumably to preclude the prison bars from Port being an option) has made this so much worse. Same with North going to a predominantly blue jumper. Both should go back to white with black/blue stripes I reckon, would make it much easier against the black/navy teams.

Completely disagree. Reckon it’s made it far better as both now have a primary colour all over. Collingwood in black and North in blue. Collingwood used to be white jumper and black shorts, and north white jumper with blue shorts. It made clashes worse as there were two colours to avoid. Kinda like Hawthorn is with a yellow jumper and brown shorts.

If you’re away to Collingwood you just have to wear a light colour or white.
