Samo.
Sam Petrevski Seton.
You’d be thinking, Black Caviar or Winks right?
Why not both, in one rat tailed horse whispering wild equine riding mystery side stepping ball delivering unctuous tree diving First Nations pig skinned deliverer!
Hats off son, you’ve delivered your first of many compositions.
But to this 1, I’ll applaud you!

On the negatives, LOB is still not ready for AFL level, while I can't see what Polson brings. I can see the positives in the games of LOB, JSOS, Dow and can see why they are persisted with because of the developmental aspect, but I really don't get Polson at all. 4 handballs, 2 tackles. Is there no one better in any state league or junior development team that we could have taken at the end of 2018...

He is struggling a bit it seems and his confidence took some denting today it was visible (LoB). He seemed better last year so maybe just second year blues? I’d like Williamson or Macreadie over him right now if they were a fair swap. Even Garlett seemed a better option.

Polson did a couple of good things in the last quarter but he’s surely just holding Cunningham’s spot. Other than pace he doesn’t quite seem capable.

JSOS did everything he needed to in his first game back to ensure he gets the next one.

Only negative today was listening to Dwayne.
They barracked there hardest for the dogs to come back didn’t they, and when that failed they beat the 100 point thing to death, but we really killed that as well a bad day all round for the commentators. SPS is the best ball user by foot in the AFL.

So...

I had to work late last night, hence the lad and I could only get up for the last qtr. Twas a vey welcome surprise to wake up at 3QT and see us four goals up.

A few squeaky bum moments early on, but in the end, never in doubt.

Anyways, with about a minute to go my son did a massive shit (his first for four days) but I thought nope...we'll watch his first win together before I change him...it's one minute...what could possibly go wrong?

From him sitting upright on my knee, me bouncing him a bit and lifting his arms up to cheer on the boys, the shit ended up covering pretty much his entire back. We instigated the Poonami Protocol, of course, but when I was holding him up so that Mrs SBYM could hose the major bits off, he pissed all over me.

What this means I don't know, however, Leo and I welcomed his first Carlton win with a bang.

Ps. I have pics of the above if anyone is interested.

Pps. Pun intended.

Ppps. I think a thread title change is in order...
This is quite possibly the best thing I’ve read on here.

Just got home straight to Bigfooty 😬!
Positives Lots but mainly
- SPS arrives
-McKay arrives
- Kruezer....what a difference a good ruckman makes!
- Crippa...there is not a player in the AFL that can stop him
- Gibbons proves he can play minutes in the midfield and is comfortable at this level

Negatives
- Polson 4 handballs, 2 tackles ...I’ve seen enough, experiment over please, cannot have a precious place in the 22 on effort alone. He’s too small for a player with no tricks.. I know this won’t go down well but he is not AFL standard, not now not ever.
-O’Brien needs lots of 2nd’s games to get his hands on the ball and get some learning and development. 11, 10 and 7 possessions in his 3 games are not enough for a mid and 1 tackle today, 1 tackle v Sydney not enough contribution for someone that can’t find the ball. He needs time that’s all.

Anyone got a Valium?

Nope but I got a hard on though..... when the boundary line passages failed … they cut through the centre. They took the game on …. on their OWN terms.

SPS was only huge because of crippa ….. he fed him like a child .... but the silk ...oh the silk ….

Then when Cowboy needed a rest ….. Nemo to clean up the hard fought stoppages ….

IMMENSE!

Agreed. LOB is 100% worth persisting with long-term, don't get me wrong, but right now he's just not there. Too slight and not the same ball-winning whore ability that the likes of Cripps and Walsh have.

Polson has always just done a couple of good things. Isn't enough. Should be put in the VFL and left there until his contract expires unless something drastic changes.

You could tell that Dunstall was barracking for us though

The great thing is we've got better replacements
Cunners, Willo or even Lang

SPS and McKay the clear positives which everyone has touched on.

I thought Gibbons contribution is underrated and was thrilled to see him get his first goal after going close so many times last week!

Was impressed with Dow (have been a fan) he bounced back after some criticism last week and he just gets his hands on the ball which is half the challenge.

JSOS was okay, LOB and Polson need more development.

Though our game plan really showed today and they looked to go through the middle more. A solid effort next week and a win against the Kangaroos the following would keep the wolves at bay.

We definitely need to enjoy the win as they’re few and far between - but we urgently need to back this up over the next few weeks!
