Throw Juddy in there as well.
That spoil of Daisy’s, if he’d missed the ball he would’ve got 20 weeksAlso glad to see Daisy out there playing good footy.
Despite being a big name recruit and not having the impact many hoped I think he’s always been a solid player for us. Particularly since he’s moved down back.
He goes hard at every contest and clearly wants to win. Also a calming presence down back and sets an example of how to attack the footy for the youngsters.
Glad he has hung around.
Yep. He keeps this up he is our all-time greatest player. He’s the best player we have ever had.
And I’m old. I’ve seen heaps of em.

Gibbons especially. Just finished watching it on replay. His link up play is superb. He’s composed in traffic through the middle of the ground. Seems very at home there Obvs. I felt he gave our mids a massive boost today.Agree. I thought Gibbons & Jack having time in the middle made SPS Dow Walsh Fisher more effective. That size and smarts helps
100% Eskie. Loved his game. Think he does a lot of stuff that goes unnoticed as well. Smart team player who I expect to keep getting better
I still see it differently. Our disposal efficiency was up from 71 to 79 from last week. If we had mirrored that against the Suns, we would have spanked them
As far as our defence goes other than injuries last year I wasn’t sure whether the biggest loss to our defence was Docherty or the loss of Amos as coach, the first 5 rounds this year have answered that question resoundingly in favour of Amos, as much as we miss the Doc we where lost last year without Amos’s coaching in defence, what an asset he is, long may he remain our defence coach and god help anyone who tries to move him again.Good defensive structure all around the ground.
Interesting stat: first 4 games in 2018 we copped over 100 points in each of those games; and 13 in total for the year. This year that number is zero.

Throw Juddy in there as well.
Still 50/50 at the moment.2019?
But Daisy has been astonishing. All year and last year. Ok, the trade was a disaster but Daisy has more than paid it back now.
No trade. Free agency.
That's true, our efficiency was up and we clearly used the ball better by hand and foot.
Our forward line actually functioned together, last week it just didn't work. I feel like our key forwards didn't really know their roles as there was one too many.
It was much more clearly defined this week.
Gibbons and SPS responsible. Gibbons really opened up play with his run and link up. Moving him up to hff perfect. SPS ball use is lethal and they clearly had a simple game plan today: give it to sps. It's kind of crazy how much our ball movement and that 'mid/forward' connection improved out of sight in just one week.
We were horrendous vs GC, yet we looked really slick today vs Dogs.
We could all argue this till Thys cows come home. Lets wait till the end of careers cos lets face it. Team of the century seems to change dramatically every decade. How is this so?Agreed, Kouta can be captured in the others most definitely. Similar to Bradley, Southby, Hunter etc.
