The mentality of our club, unfortunately is small time. Right from the top we have a narrative that is blighted in failure. What I mean by this is we seem to have a culture at the club of 'well you've had a flag now'. Even some of our fans have this. We should, as the club should, be hungry for success and for winning. We should be relentlessly pursuing this in every aspect. In our recruiting, in our coaching etc.

We had a golden opportunity to build the club's sustainability after 2016 and drive up membership numbers etc. Instead we've mismanaged the opportunity. It's so sad. The west is growing at an alarming rate and we should be successful now knocking on finals doors and building a fanbase.

That's exactly what I've tried to express! But haven't been able to as eloquently and succinctly.

I expected to capitalize on 2016, but they have gone backwards so quickly. Only this club could manage such a fall from grace. While I'm forever grateful to have seen a flag in my lifetime, the club is same old same old and the premiership hasn't changed anything.

Some players unrest would be the result of Bevo bs about rewarding players for good performances in the VFL and then reward players not in the best 5. Also playing his favourites when they are clearly out of from would be an issue.

Not sure who the important player is. We have only 2 untouchables and one recently resigned and the other surprisingly only signed a 2 year extension. If we cannot make finals 5 years into a rebuild I would not blame him to leave.

my point is that the cream does not tolerate mediocrity of any kind. at the moment, the coach and coaching panel is at fault for this type of garbage that we supporters have to watch. insipid, out-coached, arrogant, lacking ideas, no plan b. in reality a real flop from the whole coaching stuff. we have lost three games in a row where we have lost games by not having the correct structures in the back and forward line. today was atrocious in all areas, particularly the midfield. poor young english is a kid learning the game and is given the full responsibility of carrying the ruck for 4 quarters. no coach has done that in the history of our game. this will burn the kid. honestly, we need a full review of the coaching panel by year's end. not good enough. we are back to the macca mediocre years. not good enough. i am totally about to explode. we played to carlton's advantage in every area. really, really poor by the coaching panel and bevo thinks he knows what he is doing. mate take a hard look at yourself, because what you are dishing out is not good enough.

I’ve said it time and time again that we have been incompetent since Oct 2 2016.

It started with the charging ridiculous amounts to have a photo with the cup til present day.

We now live under the incorrect internal opinion that this coach and list is the way forward.

We are a small club that needs to dedicate all its time and effort to the home and away which is why I’ve also spoken out against the side projects we have. We are not big enough to manage them and shouldn’t be trying.

We have not SACKED a single person for 2017 or 2018 just moved them around hoping we could catch lightning in a bottle again and it ain’t happening.

The list is not bottom 4 but in this current structure it is and that will not change unless changes are made

Forgot about seeing macrae on the forward flank for a lot of the second half. That is nuts. At one stage in the third quarter after we got a bit of a run on we had gowers, smith, bont, wallis and dunkley rucking.

Also to the peanut behind the goals on level 3 screaming out at Tim English at a stoppage in Carlton's forward 50, hand your membership back in to the club. You dont deserve to set foot in to one of our games again. Tim heard it and it was shattering. It's fans like you that will drive him back to WA.

Usually the people who say 'have you heard this about that person' or 'a certain someone may or may not be doing x, y or z' and refuse to name names or go into detail are usually full of s***. No reason to believe any differently here.

Chatted to a player’s dad after round one last year (won’t name the player but it’s someone who is a safe selection week to week).

Said there was serious confusion about the side selected, with a few blokes who had had massive preseasons being surprise omissions and one or two blokes who had done nothing getting a go.

Wasn’t a revolt but there was some disquiet apparently that he thought might have contributed to the catastrophic performance.

I do wonder if the message players are getting is confused. Hayes and Young were exactly demanding a spot from all accounts.

Then ask Some others exactly who I am and how I know people in the WRFL and Caro springs well. In fact ask anyone from the senior Caro Team about young Abby and see what they say, it’s not a secret. Lost at the selection table this week me thinks.

BUT I do seem to recall someone posting earlier in the week about how we aren't in a rebuild then many posters rushing to say we were.

Well as part of a rebuild, you need to blood youngsters and see what they are capable of. Probably a reason why Hayes and more so Young played today.

While it's frustrating for all of us to be beaten by the laughing stock team of the past few yrs, we are constantly talking about wanting a sustained period of success. Well that doesn't happen overnight and I suspect English solo rucking is trying to fast track his progress.

Some of our more experienced players certainly let the team down, a couple in particular who have looked shaky other times this season so far, but I don't think all is lost. We are 2-3 despite losing to two of the likely bottom four teams in preseason predictions; that means that while we've been lacking the results against lower teams, we are putting together strong performances against the mid table and upper table teams.

Last week we were all pretty complimentary of the midfield for matching it with a Pies team off a 5-day break, now y'all are hanging the same group out to dry. Young teams are always inconsistent.

As for Bevo, I'm sure he will be self analysing as much or even more than we're analysing the game here, and I expect that we will be better for the game in the long run.

Lastly, given the up and down nature of this season, we could just as easily go over and knock off Freo, then no doubt everyone will be back on board with the players and Bevo...

1- I’m not 50
2- I went to one nightclub (and saw Scahache) and even admitted I shouldn’t have been there at my age but was after a function. Also saw Brad Murphy there that night but that’s an aside.
3- I did have an insider(a player) even named him but he hasn’t been at club for years.
4- perhaps being involved in local footy and clubs may give me some knowledge and info that I don’t need to be hanging around with kids.
5- I’m not the only one that has said Bont has some issues with Bev at times and I’m concerned he may leave.
6- perhaps employing kids that play footy at high levels also lets me hear some “gossip” they talk about at times.
7- where have I said Bont will leave die to issues with the club? I’ve heard that but I worry more he will leave be use we are going nowhere and someone else might offer him a massive contract that may tempt him. But again put words in my mouth

It's the same reason why Tony Shaw floated the idea of Buddy coming to Collingwood - to stay relevant, stir the pot and put their name in lights. Some people thrive on it.

It's a basic skill dropping the ball straight on the boot, but none of our players seem to be able to do it. Who the f..k is teaching the basic skills of the game.
